dont think so.... but its oh so funny!
Assuming this person has made a genuine complaint, then I will undoubtedly be contacted by Guest Relations, and will deal with it properly - unlike yourself I've clearly named myself and the hotel I work at as I have nothing to hide. I think you need to get a better hobby than pursuing some bizarre vendetta against me, though.0 -
i think the fact that i was right is funny not the fact he had to spend more money! the fact of the matter is guest relation will stand by u as he should have had his voucher so nothing will come back on u unless they read this thread an see that u said they dont need one!
iv not given details of who i am as its gross misconduct for an ihg employee to give details about promotional offers out to just anyone!0 -

You are a very sad and bitter person. If you want attention, go and dance naked on your local high street.
It is most certainly you who has written that silly post. Certainly worth it being reported as abuse.0 -
This is becoming pathetic.
Sounds like someone wants to ruin it all for the rest of us who have no problems with special offer bookings.
Thanks again Obukit.0 -

im sorry but nothing about this is funny! i intended to take my voucher an indeed thought the wife had the voucher!
i understand that you are trying to help people by telling them they need to take there voucher but your attitude stinks!
an obukit, please stop telling people they don't need the voucher as they clearly do!
it's a great offer you have told us of but you really do need to get all the facts right!0 -

Just out of interest, why didn't you simply ask reception for details of the nearest internet cafe, which would have been a lot cheaper than £70? I appreciate it's difficult to think when you're put on the spot, but I'm sure you can appreciate I'm finding it difficult to understand what could have happened. I've updated the post, though, to make it clear you should always try and take the voucher with you - thanks for the heads up.0 -
WearyWonderer - if you PM me your CRS number (a eight digit number beginning with a 6, e.g. 61234567) then I can look into it and try and get it sorted, or at least chase up Guest Relations, for you. You should find it on your booking confirmation.
