Must admit, NM, that other than those 'diaries' to which I am already subscribed, I tend to go straight to the main DFW board. I hope I'm not missing anything important.
On the 'plus' side, though, it has made the main DFW board less 'cluttered' and easier to find the 'newby' threads.
I'm pleased that the 'Bankruptcy' sub board becomes a board in its own right.
I suppose we'll get used to it.
Me to Rog. I'm sort of hoping (and I haven't checked) that newbies are mostly posting on the main DFW board. If and when their posts become diaries (which they often do) they can be moved to the diary subboard after a couple of weeks.A smile enriches those who receive without making poorer those who giveor "It costs nowt to be nice"0 -
I thought there was gonna be another main heading called Dealing with Debt and DFW and the BR board would be moved to it and away from Pure Money? This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0

It was only a suggestion, len. Probably being considered for the next 're-organisation'.I am NOT, nor do I profess to be, a Qualified Debt Adviser. I have made MANY mistakes and have OFTEN been the unwitting victim of the the shamefull tactics of the Financial Industry.
If any of my experiences, or the knowledge that I have gained from those experiences, can help anyone who finds themselves in similar circumstances, then my experiences have not been in vain.

I don't like the change to the Vent, Bent & Heaven Sent board. Before, I knew if something was good or bad, now I have to read the post to find out if it is praise or otherwise. Makes it that little bit harder to find the good companies or those that should be avoided.
Me too, I used to always read the vents now I avoid the forum. Shame as it used to be a good read.0 -
Hi,
One thing i feel is missing from the boards is a live recent post page, or the 20 most recent posts scrolling in real time.
think of it as a list of post from all the boards, displaying the most recent first.
Ebay auction terms it would be the item that finished first is at the top of the list, while later finishers are below. Well yours is similar, but the newest post on the top of the list and older ones below and covers all boards.
This will have the benefit on opening people up to new areas or discussions, and on quiet day peoplw may keep their page on the screen looking for input and updates.
Thanks for my tuppence worth.0 -
