If you're interested in saving money (and your LIVER) simply drink less alcohol. If students did that they'd have more money for those increasing fees they keep moaning about....

Learn to talk to people and develop social skills so you don't need to be on your way to drunk when you go out..... oh yeah, and don't urinate or vomit in the street - a few students round my uni have have been done for that. £30-£50 fine I believe... And then there are those who were done for being drunk and disorderly...

    Think!

you dont even need social skills!!:A just wait till everyone else is drunk then you get all the benifits with no need to buy alcohol or destroy your liver.
seriously though, if you are going to go out and drink avoid friday and saturday nights, that is for working people (who actually have money), there will usually be a student night in town where they will do cheaper deals.... downside this is usually on a 'school night' (ours is on monday) but you're university students.... just sleep in if you have to! :rotfl:
  • great list, only thing I did differently was using a pint glass instead of a Pringles tube :p

Some supermarkets have change-counting machines that convert copper collections into proper beer money for free.

Don't use these! they keep at least 10% as a charge, visit a bank instead and use theirs for no charge.
