Haha good idea! I would try that but ours don't give change. It's a right pain as I never have the right change!

  • Don't buy books unless they are *vital*

The chances are that the lose money *very* quickly.... DON'T put them on ebay after using them as you won't get much for them... when you sell them advertise through your uni, targeting the noobies/2nd years...

This year I've only bought one book (although my mumski thinks its a lot more!) from a book shop. The other was from ebay... and the rest of my books have been from the library. I've had them since June 05 (for my dissertation) and I've just been renewing them online since then... (rock on!!) I also make the most of electronic journals, and my Athens account (ask your uni librarians about them) also, do see if your uni has electronic books... Often the most popular books are available online... Great!! :T Saved me a fortune, and its great when all the forward thinkers have gotten all the books out of the library!

Keep saving that money (and spending it on cherry lambrini!!!!)

I had a friend who convinced her Mum that 'the Brookhouse' was a local bookshop when it kept appearing on her debit/credit card bill.....

the Brookhouse is actually the local pub :D:D:D:D:rotfl:
