Oh don't worry Ninny, we know you're old, so it goes without saying:D....:Dright back at ya!!!!:rotfl:

    Hello everyone

I've had a good day in the kitchen giving it a deep clean. I'm so ashamed of how mucky it had become:o - all my own wo*k, I don't have one of those "OH" household appliances to blame it on.

Aww mummysaver, who ate your sweeties? Isn't it annoying when we don't get to scoff our own little treats.

icecubequeen - has your parcel arrived yet?

I'm going to have scrambled egg on toast for dindins tonight, nice and simple! I've got some minced beef which is now defrosted - I had intended making mince and tatties, but can't be bothered. I'll do that tomorrow and stretch it a bit with some lentils which have been lurking for some considerable time.

I've just got the kitchen floor to do now, so best be off.

    Bye

    Snowy

    Hey Snowy!

Don't get me started on the parcel! I have been in tears this evening due to the incompetence (hope I spelled that right?) of Parcelforce. I know it is silly to cry over a parcel not being delivered, but I am so wound up by being fobbed off, I just ended up crying :o Not that crying will help as my parcel still isnt here!!

Gonna go now before I wind myself up again lol

big hugs Zippychick - hope it's not that!
Chrisca - bless the poor little darling - hope she has a better night.

dd(19) cam round after dgs(4)'s school - mostly so he could bat a balloon about my poor migraine addled head but also to drop of some differnt painkillers - which have worked :T :T :T

dd(12) is on her way back from school - she has been to an interschool debating competition - i'm a bit cross as i was told she would be back at school at 6pm but at half past when i called her she was only on the bus going to school - she has another hour after that. The good news is that her team won their debate - i gave her some money this morning to get something on the way home so at least she won't be starving when she gets in. just called her and she's still 20 minutes away.

    I've been Money Tipped!
Hester - does BOW's supervisor know about her insanity issues?

Chrisca - the prayers and thoughts on here are a force to be reckoned with. I am continuing to keep you, your DIL and your darling granddaughter in my prayers

    Zippychick - good luck

Shopping away, washing continuing, hm tea but oven chips (:o) baked beans and chicken grills. All things considered, could be worse.

And while I was upstairs and dear heart was in charge little bear set off the burglar alarm. It is the end of a day when he has been repeatedly told off for standing on top of the fire guard.

I haven't been able to get on with anything at all today as I haven't been able to turn my back on little bear for a second. He hardly had any time at all napping.

So I have managed to sort out and juggle furniture and so little bear should not be standing on the fire guard for a little while, but the deep clean and declutter didn't happen. :o

    Hugs to all

    Hello all
It's amazing how little ones will gain strength, Chrisca, once they can keep some food down. Her tummy lining will be aggravated and will take a while to settle but it's good that she is keeping milk down. Thoughts with you all ((((hugs))))
HM soup from freezer for tea followed by sausage, frozen chips and beans. Not the healthiest of meals but I've had the tum bug that's going round and have felt lethargic with it. This is fast tea and I actually fancy it, so there ha ha.
DH off out with dogs for their walk round the block.
Will try to declutter one corner tonight then I will feel a bit more virtuous.
((((hugs)))) to those in need of one tonight.

Big Rant coming up..................

When OH was taken ill last year our GP advised us to cancel our trip to the US which I did. I cancelled the flights with Continental all £850's worth......I phoned the insurance company and asked for claim forms which I filled in, they wanted a medical certificate from the DR. As we were waiting for a diagnosis the certificate was not sent in until January. To day, after phoning twice to find out what was going on I recieved a letter dated 25th January asking for further infomation. I had a phone call tonight from the assessor. They want to know from the airline if we took the flights or had any money refunded from them, despite the fact that on the e ticket which I sent them it states that flights are non refundable and also all treatment investigations etc OH was undergoing for 6 months before I booked the holiday and also what medication he was on.....none of which had anything to do with what happened when he was admitted to hospital in September. I have just had a flaming row with the assessor handling the claim..........she virtually called me a liar, when I challenged her stating that they were going to turn down the claim she started to stutter ( I wonder how much commission she gets for each claim she turns down????)......eventually I got so annoyed I gave the phone to OH and told him to deal with it all. So it looks like we are just over £750 down......not a happy situation in the circumstances.   I told her to write to the Dr herself if she wanted the information. They want it on surgery note paper. I suppose they think I will write a letter myself and send it in to them!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Stupid idiots..............

I already have started the process of changing our bank account, we were insured through our Lloyds TSB account. I resent them sending their executives on a jolly in Aistria, when they are being bailed out by the tax payer..........so I am putting my money where my mouth is and walking......

This has sent me straight down to rock bottom again, we really could do with that money......and it looks like it has gone into a black hole, ie Lloyds.....
    Was 13st 8 lbs,Now 12st 11 Lost 10 1/4lbs since I started on my diet.
