Then download update and run FULL scans with Malwarebytes and Superantispyware

You also have some file running related to some bittorrent program? ~

Id guess thats not good either. Maybe you could shed some light on it?

have done all you suggested but still not able to install - would it harm it if i tried the 64 bit removal tool ?

dont know what the bittorrent thingy is - its my DD laptop and she runs msn mainly on here

Try it by all means (Though if the 32 bit DID work, i doubt the 64 bit will)

If still no good you could try to install in safe mode

ok, so now ive lost internet access - been trying to fix it all afternoon!

dont know what on earth ive done but lappy still showing as if im connected but its not really. Been in all the settings but really dont know what they should be so cant/darent change anything.

did a system restore to try to solve prob but no luck. Also turned off firewall but no joy.

Can you help please
