pc wont boot up - possible virus

I thought that was an old fault with internet explorer up till V5. I don't think that should be the case with more modern versions. I'd use Firefox anyway.Its ok now, phoned bank again and she said internet explorer doesnt always show the padlock but if i log in and press f11 it should show up and it did.

Finally, I DID IT.....wey hey.
Ive done a system restore (which scared the life out of me as I wasn't too sure what i was doing) and my internet returned.
Ive now successfully installed kaspersky on my laptop as well, and its running fine.
I'd just like to thank you all for your patience and help over the last week especially rik :beer:
