Done! I got the screen with my account/customer number at the end, so do I send the cheque now or do I have to wait for the confirmation email before I send them the cheque?

was wondering this myself,guess its wait incase they need ID etc

Just opened an account, no problems. Will send the cheque off tonight regardless of whether I have received the confirmation email.

Was wondering which savings account to go for, so this swung it.

I didn't find a definite answer but is it possible to apply in my wife's name as well as my own and get £40?
I think we only have 1 cheque book which is linked to our joint account.
