  • If none are showing on the shelves, ask! I went into a Dixons and none were about but I asked and it seems they had a load in the back...

The other disadvantage, as has been pointed out, is the in-built battery meaning you can't carry spares on the road.
The battery can be replaced, but the process is apparently rather fiddly and not without risk.

I bought one of the Dixons Audiomove MP3 IGB for £39.99, It's not as dinky as the Q-be (but then I've heard that Q-be's so dinky it can be difficult to use!). The audiomove is a reasonable machine and a bargain at the price, easy to use, load and works with single aaa battery which is a plus in my book...esp as I keep a stock of rechargables. Also the battery life is given as 10 hrs but mine has gone significantly over that already. All in all a very decent buy.
Just because somebody is certain doesn't mean they are right!

So how much is it reduced to? You don't actually say what the new price is in your post.

  • does anybody know another way of charging the q-be mp3 player up and where would i get one thanks mark
  • I have a charger for a pda that allows you to put usb end of the lead into it to charge the pda, and was told in store that I could use that to charge a mp3 player because the usb port on the charger is the same it was the end that went into the portable unit that would change. Does that make sense? I bought it off of ebay, for less than £10 but have not tried it yet on the mp3 player only on the pda.

Does anyone else have any battery problems? I'm finding th4e charge doesn't last very long and was wondering on average how long other people's lasted before it needed another charge.
2p off is still 2p off!
