The Q-Be is touted as the world's smallest MP3 Player, which you can store up to 320 songs you've downloaded onto.
PC World is selling the Q-Be 1GB Silver MP3 player for £44.99 in store but there's a sneaky way of getting it for £39.99. Use PCWorld's collect in store service to order it online but pick it up at your nearest PC World and you'll get it at the online price.
To see it you'll need to click on this link to PC World then use the search facility at the top of the site to do a search for Q-Be. It comes up second on the list. It currently says not available as it's no longer available online but PC World has said stock is still available in store.
Though if you can beat the price elsewhere - add it to the thread...

Also available for the same price at PC World...which means you can also do a collect at store at that price...picking one up later, not that I need it!0

Thanks very much to the OP and master_blaster - having been scammed by an Ebay seller for a lesser unit and thinking I'd never get a decent player for the £40 she charged, I've just reserved one of these from PC World© Cuilean 2005. Any connection between your reality and mine is purely coincidental.0

Found a stack of them in my local Dixon store (London on Victoria Street). Picked up a black little number for under £25.
Looks very small and stylish, and comes in a neat box, idea for a gift! Also looks much better in the flesh than the photos on the Dixon site do justice.

Many thanks - just picked one up from Dixons in Manchester - the sales assistant didn't realise that they had been reduced (until I showed him the display in the window)- he said he might get one himself at this price0

Oooh, it's so ickle ...
Just picked one up from PCWorld and got a 3-year extended warranty for free for some bizarre reason (maybe it's my rugged good looks and razor sharp wit) :rotfl:
Waiting for the initial charge to finish, then off we go.
Cheers,

Just been to pick up a 1Gb model from PC World - there were loads on the shelf (still priced up at £99.99). No free 3 year warranty for me (although I was offered it for £10).0

They are selling them in store for £24.99 and £39.99 for the 512MB and 1GB models.
Was going to get one until the sales chump pointed out that you need USB to charge them so not much use when on hols abroad!
Has anyone any ideas how to get around this (except for the chumps reply of taking a laptop on holiday with you!).
Cheers
Scav0
