Loo Brushes give me the dry boke - do you realise how much bacteria lives in one of them????
Bleach or bleach block into the cistern flush and the inside of the loo is clean - antibac spray on seats and outside of the loos and flush away the wipes or throw away
I don't use disposable anything because I think its very bad for the environment, that's my choice
Is bleaching and reusing a cloth or brush any different to washing and wearing my underwear again?do you throw your underwear out after you've worn it once?
... don't throw the string away. You always need string!

I squirt bleach around the bowl and use anti bacterical wipes to clean the seat etc. I have 4 toilets in my house and they are all kept lovely and clean this way. I do not own a toilet brush the thought of them makes me retchLittle Miss Chatterbox

Hi, I squirt bleach around the bowl of the toilet and then clean the cistern lid and seats with with some liquid (squirts of bleach in some warm water in the sink) and then use a cloth to clean the toilet. Is a method that has been used by my family for ages and is better than the anti-bacterial disposable wipes you can get.0

I'm going to stick my neck out here and I always thought say the main reason for a toilet brush is not for when you are cleaning the loo as in 'I'm going to clean the loo', but for those 'other occasions' where you can see the loo isn't clean if you know what I mean, so those of you who don't have a loo brush, how you or who ever is using the bathroom at the time deal with this?Numpties...I'm surrounded by them...save me...:whistle:0

We've never had a loo brush. Squirt and wipe for those moments
When the loo gets a decent clean, I use my 'bathroom' gloves and a 'bathroom' sponge. I must be the only one not using bleach - just detergent but we seem to have a shiny bathroom. I try to clean it twice a week0 -

I use a HM vinegar spray and HM tea tree spray to clean my toilets. i try to do it every 2nd day and just alternate between the two. If i am feeling lazy I might just put a drop of essential oil that has expired and I am trying to use up in the bowl and give it a quick scrub. I always put the lid down when flushing, but I keep my toothbrush in the linen press as I don't think the bathroom is the best place for it. I also reuse specific cloths for the toilet like rosieben, beacause of environmental reasons and I just wash them out in a bucket with some HM detergent and tea tree oil in very hot water from my flask.
I honestly think if you just used very hot water you would probably do a good enough job on cleaning your toilet. i get a little concerned with the way society has become obsessed with germs. I personally think it's all a bit of a scam to sell more cleaning products. I mean my grandparents all got by fine with vinegar, bicarb soda and lemon juice for cleaning and they lived until their late eighties and my nan is still going and she turned 90 last year
