But she's only dipped the paper in once, not repeatedly, so the dirty paper won't have contaminated the water in the sink.0

Lift the lid on the cistern, pour in some bleach and leave it to dissolve then flush. This ensures that the whole loo is bleached. You can then use an old dish brush (plastic bristle type) to swish round the inner bowl and finally wipe the outside with some spray and a cloth.0

tell me you are not serious. Should it not be done the other way round?
Yes, I wondered about that. Is anything to do with the loo done last.
But what do I know... I give my bowels a regular brushing. Been wondering why I have trouble sitting sometimes.
I'll leave it there.
eta: just read JuliaPenguin's theory. Makes sense.0 -

I was also wondering how often should you clean the toilet?
I have done a search but couldn't find what i was looking for.
Thanks all for help.
if you have to use a cloth then use disposable cloths and throw away after using.
Loo Brushes give me the dry boke - do you realise how much bacteria lives in one of them????
Bleach or bleach block into the cistern flush and the inside of the loo is clean - antibac spray on seats and outside of the loos and flush away the wipes or throw awayTime is the best teacherShame it kills all the students*******************************************************************************************0 -

Bacteria are not all bad and some are far worse than others. The bacteria in your toothbrush are likely to be the ones that live in your mouth anyway, whilst the bacteria on a toilet seat are more likely to have an origin in your colon - like E. coli for example. Of course, when flushing the toilet some of the contents of the bowl form an aerosol, that can cover everything within 2m or so. If your toothbrush is stored near the toilet there may be unpleasant bacteria getting on it. Best to make sure the toilet lid is down to reduce the dispersal of the aerosol and store toothbrushes out of the way of microspray.Time is the best teacherShame it kills all the students*******************************************************************************************0

Disposable gloves, and dive right in with toilet paper. Then bleach, once it looks clean. The bit which everyone forgets is under the rim of the toilet.“The ideas of debtor and creditor as to what constitutes a good time never coincide.”

I squirt toilet duck or bleach round the pot, leave over night then go in bare back with my hand and a microfibre cloth and give it a quick going over.
