    I've been Money Tipped!
I also ordered mine with the paypal offer, but I have only used it on BL and armpits as I am worried about getting exposed bits in the sun.

Are you keeping the treated areas religiously covered or is it one of the safety requirements that is a little OTT?

I'd stick to BL and pits during summer unless you are prepared to wear high factor suncream. I wouldn't take risks with burning your skin whilst using the BSS it can lead to irregular pigmentation.

I've taken a break from using mine on exposed areas over summer to be on the safe side.

Allebayedout is it you with the dodgy machines (I can't remember) anyway to whomsoever that owns one of these gadgets.

The Light blast and click sound seems very variable on mine sometimes I get a little light blast and a small click sound and sometimes I get a big and longer light blast (and consequently it bloody hurts.)
Sometimes I just get a mini incomplete click sound and no light blast at all.

Is this normal or is my machine B!!!!!ed?
Oh and when it turns off to cool down I have to watch the clock and turn it back on myself.
Are you all doing this too?`Or does yours bring itself back out of stand by?

Hi Lilibethh, yes I'm the one with all the unlucky bss's.

Do you mean a click sound coming from the button on the handheld part? or do u mean a clicking noise from the gel when the light goes through it. If its the gel, it means its working ok. You should be getting a light blast EVERY single time u press the button when it lights up red. If I were you, consider taking it back as this doesn't sound right.

Havn't had had inconsistant light blasts before, I always have it on fair and the light flash is always the exactly the same, (only different when I accidentally have it set to dark instead of fair, and then I realise its on the wrong setting).

I dont think it brings itself out of standby. I think u have to judge when its cooled and is ready to use again. I leave it for about 1/2 hour on standby or turn it off and clean it, and leave it by the window so it cools quicker. Thats just the thing I do.

Right so when it shuts down at 50 and 200 (mine does it after about 20 ) It is lying in the manual when it says it shuts down for 1min and 5mins respectively then.
Mine just goes into standby and stays there.

The clicking seems to be the handset, I've don't really understand about the gel clicking, :o.

I always have it on fair.
Oh and I now have a burn on the back of my leg from one of the big long light blasts it never burned me last week when I used it. And my skin type is safe to use it on (really pale).
It hurts, but I don't want to send it back if it is just me.
    Does that make sense?
My leg really hurts now, just that one area where I had the big burst the rest of the leg is fine.

    P.S Thanks for answering.
