Hi all, I've been reading this for a while with loads of interest. I bought the BSS about 8-9 wks ago. I have used it 5 times on legs, 5 on bikini & 7 on armpits.
My legs have started to grow really slowly & im so excited to see if this really does work permanently. It takes ages to do legs but I dont care if it works in the long run.
My armpits have no bald patches yet but they too are growing really slowly.
I'm so sad!! Every day im examining my body for bald patches.
Think my BK has had best results so far, hardly any hair grows back.
Only thing is, I need more gel and Boots have ran out as others have mentioned so have emailed them to see whn they are getting more as I want this treatment done as soon as poss as I'd love to go on hols in Sept and not be hairy anymore!!
Also tried top lip but its really sore i find. Dont really find anywhere else sore and i do it on fair setting.
Would love to know if anyone is finished treatment successfully. ta0 -
There must be other gel for sale some where as Boots are not the only people that use this system .0

TBH I would image something like aloe vera gel would be ok. As its only a barrier to protect the skin right?0

Well, it has finally been delivered and is sitting here in front of me. But having looked through the booklet that comes with it, the only thing that worries me is that we are trying to conceive and it says definitely don't use when pregnant! Well, that is the first time I've heard that, so do I just return it as I never know when I could fall pregnant, or carry on regardless?0

I wouldn't start treatment until after birth because a lot of woman suffer hormonal changes which makes more hair grow. Not sure how willing Boots will be for refunds but I guess they should be ok.0 -
How about adding a few drops of tea tree oil or eucalyptus essenital oils to it. That has a cooling effect.
I'm hypothasysing (sp?) and i'm not actually going to do it lol. I still have some gel left.0 -
Yes I was thinking of the green factor! LOL. What other clear gels are there. I actually can't think of any.0
