You just enter the code on the Boots site once you've added the item to the basket. You don't need to visit the PayPal site or click the link from the PayPal site. You don't even need to pay with PayPal!

The Boots site will accept the code and will show you the discount once you proceed to logging in and paying.

    Hope that helps!

How on earth can you get 10% cashback from paypal, for paying with paypal, without actually paying with paypal? :D
    Unless Boots is broken.

It's 10% discount not 10% cashback. The discount is from Boots and applied at the Boots checkout. PayPal probably receive a kickback just by users entering a code rather than working on linked referrals.

So does that mean I could go through a cashabck site like Quidco, and use this code to gte cashback and discount?

I'm debating whether to buy in store as I have a double points coupon, 300 pts when you spend £40 from mailing plus the ACM total spend coupon. Which way would be best, obviously in true MSE style I want to pay as little as possible.
    TIA

To answer my own question I have been fiddling about the Boots website and came up with the following.
Go via a cashback site, best I could find was Topcashback at 3.5%, buy with the 10% code, price is £224.99, plus 896 points and free delivery.
Cashback site, buy with 600 pts code, price is £249.99, total 1496 pts, free delivery.
Or buy instore at £249.99, and with the double pts, actra ACM pts worked out I would get back approx £25 in pts.

Think I will go with the 10% code, I don't have to part with as much cash and I will get the cashback back so will drop price by about another £8 or so.

No, I used my credit card. I just added the code in the check out rather than opting for extra points.

Sorry so what is the 10% you are talking about.
I thought you meant the 10% for using paypal.

10% discount off the total price - ie £224.99 instead of £249.99

There is no need to be facetious. I wasn't rude to you.
10% discount from where? What offer?
