i nearly took the plunge and bought one as well today, when I noticed they were reduced. However, I was waiting for the SA to serve me and looked at the booklet on display, and it says not suitable for people with thyroid problems. I have just been diagnosed as borderline underactive thyroid and the medication they have given me, isn't one that is listed in the book. Now I am not sure what to do. Any advice??0

I have done 7 treatments on my under chin and chin area. I think I am seeing results for sure on my under chin. There is a lot less hair there and what is there definatly grows back slower. On my chin itself apart from growing about half a day slower i'm not noticing any difference at all, but this area is very thick. Have now done 4 (painful!) treatments on my underarms and this I think maybe beginning to grow a little slower.
And I have now done 3 treatments around my nipple area I think. And this may also be growing back slower. I used to do all once but this is now so painful and gets hot so i'm splitting into 2 seperate days. Face one day and the underarms and nipple area the next. Due another face (chin and under chin area) treatment today.
From reading I didnt think it was suitable for use on the face or npple area.0 -

In the booklet it shows how to use around nipple area on page 14.
Someone on this thread had used on the face during the BSS trial before it was brought out. The only reason it seems that it is not to be used on the face is because it was never confirmed that it actually worked on the face. And I'm not too bothered as it's right on the very edge of my chin so not somewhere very delicate and i'm not using it full pelt as it were.0 -

Thank you, that is really helpful.
I have just tried to buy one on line, using the discount code that is available when you pay by paypal, but the paypal payment page does not have an option to put in the code. I am sure when I pay via e bay, there is always space to put in discount codes. Does anyone have any suggestions, as the 10% discount will be an extra bonus.0 -

You don't enter the code on the paypal payment page, you enter it in the promotional code box which should be at the bottom of the page when you are viewing your Boots basket IYSWIM:starmod:C'est la vie:starmod:0 -

This may not solve it and you may have already done this in which case apologies.
Delete all your cookies, temp internet files etc and login in to your paypal account FIRST!
Then click on the Boots offer on the Paypal website which will take you to the Boots website then shop and when you go to pay see if a magic box appears.*Make every day Caturday*0 -
Hi, Sunshine,
Go through the paypal site to the boots site, then log into your boots account (you need to have an account to get the 10% - it will not work without it) put the code in on the checkout page of the boots site (just tried it and it works) hth0
