Yes I saw her about 40 minutes ago. She is in need of company tonight so I said she could have a special second visitThe birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0

Well, I've never eaten one. They used to be awful according to my service users, but they are improving, at least in this county. To be honest, I've never eaten an M&S ready meal either!
The best thing to do is get the pricelist/menu etc and compare the prices with M&S. MOW should provide you with some bumph.
If your Nan doesn't like them she doesn't have to keep having them. I hope she will tho.
I've been watching QI and now Not Going Out, so feeling much better now! Laughter really is the best medicine!"Snowflakes are one of nature's most fragile things, but just look what they can do when they stick together."

That's extremely kind of you Dusty to take in poor lonely Rose and give her some attention.
I'm afraid I can't answer the question about the homework for the 6/7 year old.. At least not politely...I am the leading lady in the movie of my life

Sorry Dusty - your avatar and Lil-me's are similar shades!
My relatives got theirs from Wiltshire farm foods they are portion sized and you can order desserts too. But we used to boost them with some from Morrisons which, at the time, were 5 for £4.00. Stuff like stew and dumplings. This was prior to 2005 when my great aunt died. She was the one I was with when she died, more by accident than design, who was the previous owner of my barometer (and my handbag wardrobe and my sewing box)
I used to like the puddings. When they were due a new delivery they would declutter them in my direction for me and the kids...pudding and custard....
re the homework. Is there not a school policy on this? (We give ours 2 pieces plus spellings - but it should be doable in a reasonably short amount of time)Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

Thanks Valli & Quillion & soappie
... I'd forgotten how complicated it was
My tax code takes into account the tax I claim back from mileage, charitable donations etc and the tax I owe due to the benefits I get, so is a somewhat random amount. To complicate it further, my benefits year starts in June and HMRC are notified almost immediately, and I don't submit my form until the following April...
Checking my pay slips, I've actually been paid the same amount for 4 whole months :T which is unusual as my tax code seems to change regularly. Last Feb for some reason I only paid £100 tax, presumably because they'd got something wrong. How anyone can ever get things straight when they're constantly over/under recovering and correcting it, and some stuff is deducted in arrears, and some in advance based on the previous year and then corrected based on the following year's return... I have NO idea!
Anyway, off to try Valli's maths :eek:0 -
I have my own spreadsheet for it LOL
I rather assumed you would not have a straightforward tax code ... but that would be the starting point for it...
Now I wonder where Quillion works then...
'n' I'll have what Grateful's having please!Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

Soappie, a dog like yours is going to be on BBC South in the local news. It's about dogs going to Afghanistan."Snowflakes are one of nature's most fragile things, but just look what they can do when they stick together."

Lady-Liberty wrote: »Hi All
It seems from my quick skim through the thread that lots of people need (((hugs))) today.........so I am sending plenty.
I have had my consultation & now know what I am dealing with 'Leiomyosarcoma' which is basically a rare large cancerous tumour in the womb. Hopefully by having the hysterectomy they have removed it all, but I will need 3 monthly scans, chest X rays & bloodtests for quite some time. Once the wound site has healed they will consider radiotherapy. It has all been rather a shock, but I have had continued love & support from so many people on this thread & couldn't have got through it so far without you. I won't mention single people because I don't want to clog up space.........but you know who you are xxxxxx & a huge thanks to everyone xxx
Lady Liberty I will add you to our prayer group list, not that you need it just as a precaution. We love you, not just flannel, and love can conquer...Please do not confuse me with other gratefulsforhelp. x0
