Toots - I'm sure your friend will look beautiful as the mother of the groom in that outfit. It's stunning!
Valli - well done on NOT ironing the duvet before you put it on the bed! That's a step in the right direction
Emily - you're doing well - keep it up! And you could always do what I do with the windows - clean the inside and say they're done rather than fiddle about with a ladder doing the dangerous outside. :rotfl:
Lady-L - big hugs. At least you have a diagnosis and you can work to beat this thing. We are all here with you sending positive healing vibes. That has typed out all wrong - but you know what we mean!
Have decluttered Gordon and the week's general mental detritus concerning life with NN so I'm feeling quite mellow now.
Off to rustle up a feast with rice and whatever else I can find in the fridge...I am the leading lady in the movie of my life

I know they are training again in April and I think that is countrywide, so now would be a great time to apply.
Being a bit thick here but what's a CSW ?
Also in Devon by the way ZCC72-:D

Evening ladies
Dinner done and DW on, feeling really chilly this evening.
? I need to buy a small microwave for my Nan, just for heating stuff up. We don't have a microwave so I have no idea about them - any tips of what to get and where from gratefully received.

Dusty if you have an argos catalogue they usually give a few basic outline details. they are reasonable price too and asda - mine is an asda cheapie and from memory it was less than £30. One thing to think about is how to set the timer - whether you get a dial to turn or buttons to push/press and what would be easier for your Nan.

Thanks toots - she does not have much strength/control and finds things like writing tricky which would be easier do you think? Also what temp are ready meals etc usually heated at 700w? or do I need to get higher? The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0

No apology required. I thought what you said was sensitive.
Have you had any closure with your work thing yet?
Have decluttered fish and chips for dinner! Will do some washing up if there's any hot water left after DH's bath - we are still using th boost as it turns out the boiler still isn't mended. I'll have to ring up about that on monday, but we aren't that bothered as we can get some hot water at least.
Hugs to all, hope all is well. I'm just catching up so will go and read more about what you've all been doing. Have a good weekend everyone"Snowflakes are one of nature's most fragile things, but just look what they can do when they stick together."
