Evening all
Carp day here but won't bore you all with the details other than to say it was a first I hadn't expect to sock me sideways
Loads of pages to catch up on suffice to say I shall skip them for now. Hugs and well dones where appropriate.
Got the day off from swimming lessons tomorrow as there is a swimming gala instead. Plenty of stuff to catch up in this pit of a house!

It depends on how pigpen is feeling. If she's being nice she lets us off... and we can catch up on things missed during the week or have a couple of days off. If she thinks we haven't worked hard enough she gives us another list!0 -
Evening all,
read through and had a little catch up -
Greenbee (I think), re the calculations - there is a website that calculates it for you:
www.thesalarycalculator.co.uk
Dusty re microwave - Freecycle is a great idea, especially if you explain why wanted. (My freecycle has been inundated by bods wanting ipods, Wiis and other consoles - the cheek!) Newer models seem to have these fiddly workings, but older ones seem more robust IMO.....
LL - I know lots of hugs have been given, but just wanted to add mine - power of positive thought and all that....
Gratefulforhelp - I have PM'd you - thank you for your offer!
Philb - Yay! A fellow flypeep in the Shire...close enough to declutter my handbags!:rotfl:
Valli - Seriously, ironing? What's that about! My one pet hate is ironing duvets. However, about twice a year ironing becomes a treat.....here's how it works:
1. Wash and dry ALL clothes;
2. Fold and put in ironing pile;
3. Set up ironing board in front of TV;
4. Put on Gone with the Wind;
5. Put ironing pile to the left, bottle of wine to the right;
6. Take sip of wine, iron item;
7. Have break and wine;
8. Have more wine, iron item;
9. Drink wine. Repeat steps 6-9.
10. Iron wine, drink iron, stop.:D
Hope I got all names right - memory like a, erm, thingie....
Night all, see you on the morrow.:A FLY FIRST, KNIT LATER :A0 -
