Broclo suggests we carry on as before which makes me feel a bit unwelcome in the chat thread

I think I will just read for a few days while it sorts itself out......
Meant to say also what I saw in Chester which I am GUTTED I never got was a few of these for £7.49 each ( didn't realise what a bargain they were!), If I manage to get back this week I'll pick up the putting sets too x
This is a do-it-yourself test for paranoia: you know you've got it when you can't think of anything that's your fault.

I was simply suggesting that maybe as this subject comes up so often and CPG and Glad are not about, that maybe we should just hold our horses and carry on as normal until then as everyone seemed to be rather confused and it would mean alot more pages for everyone to wade through on this thread. I was only trying to be helpful.

I also put at the end that people should pop on over to the refugees.

If you felt I was being anything other than helpful and friendly, then I genuinely appologise, but I can assure you that my post was meant with the utmost good intentions towards everyone on both threads.

we've had a Boots chat thread running in the Arms for some time now, the latest one was closed because it became argumentative and way off topic!
I've said I'll start another Boots chat thread sometime today when hopefully everyone involved has calmed down, it will be for people to chat on as it always has been and doesn't need long duplicates of offers etc which are posted here in the Grabbit board :)

Thank you for the work you do on the site and for closing the refugee one. It had got a bit heated. Is it worth having two grabbits, one for store and one for online? When online gets v exciting (eg, when the site freezes), there are a lot of posts to trawl through. And what is the Arms please? I got to the refugee thread via the link on the first page of this one.

Just popping in quickly before Dancing on Ice starts again, i love this thread, i don't post very often but when i do i've always been welcomed and thanked and made to feel part of it, had a few pm's out of it too and feel that i've made some good friends over the years..............but i understood why it had to move over to The Arms as it ended up quite ridiculous with all the glittery goodnights etc.
I don't mind where i post to just say i've picked up 5xNo7 aftersun;) or whatever, so i might flit between both until i find my niche and hope i don't upset anyone in the process :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
:pwould like to make it known it is not a DHN, she's dancing :p

If you tell the truth, you don't have to remember anything.:A

last o/t post from me a) because im going to get into trouble and b) (and much more importantly lol) im going to watch a DVD and share a box of creme eggs with my lovely hubby (2 for me, 1 for him!) Anyway what i wanted to say was thank you broclo, at least you're trying to break down what seems like a "them" and "us" divide and that can only be a good thing. I only joined recently and you were one of the 1st posters i noticed as you were going out of your way to help someone with a sale problem-thats surely the kind of spirit we're all looking for on here- a few laughs, a lot of bargains and helping one another out :D

See you all tomorrow-Happy Bootsing everyone...xxx

I'm sure it was but this post in the Refugees thread didn't help, there is no "them and us" but if people don't feel comfortable posting on the Refugees thread then they won't be thrown off of this one either :D

To keep on topic, my daughter being 18 is a great one for fake tan products and while browsing in Boots she found 7 boxes of Simple fake tan mousse at 54p each, she bought the lot, product gave her a lovely colour but....

she turned out to be allergic to it

Did a grand tour of Boots today, not much happening though.

Best bargain was in Emersons green (thought that would make you laugh angie ;)) where I got 2 no7 exfoliators red to £2* so both went through with one perkie. They were the last two on the shelf though, sorry:o. However everything else in that store was still full price, and I mean everything!!!

Still desperately looking for reduced no7 accessories, anyone seen any in Bristol area?

Up until now I have been keeping my stash all to ME. But have just put a couple of pamper boxes together (using loads of the freebies I've aquired and putting them in the lovely pink boxes the S&G dodgy glove set came in), going to give them to a couple of very deserving friends tomorrow so I now have a warm glow (and feel I have now justified my Bootsing habit:D)
now has her .com delivery but doesnt know where to put it :o

Hi Clo,where are the pics of the cute boys?

for anyone who hasnt been on refugees the girls are close but also very welcoming like Broclo!

just i'm so set in my ways and find it too consuming going from one board to another with the little time i have..

Thanks Broclo, I am fairly new to Bootsing and just confused by the threads at the mo, that's all

Think a bit of TV watching and a cream egg right now is a great idea, Karen ;) (Yes, they were grabbed from Boots so this is on topic really ;) :rotfl: )
