I was in Newark at the weekend and there were some No7 sets blue with flowers on containing manicure bits and make up brushes reduced to £6.50 thought great i'll grab a couple use perkie and get them for £1.50 but the perkie was not accepted on it (maybe because it was an accessory) so i changed them for some body fiming cream reduced to £6.50 they had quite a few no7 bits on the reduced shelf but didnt see any other bargains at all.

well .. we still seem to be going around + around in circles again .. I have been here nearly 2 months + this is the second time.. about can we chat or not etc .. + with the refugees closing down ... then why do we have this heated discussion on this thread for?

If people can't post what their got, then people won't know what to look out for in Boots .. + might look like this " " then go shopping elsewhere cos a lot of things are cheaper.. e.g I bought dove hand cream @ £2.44 then on a different day I went to asd* + I saw it over 50p ish cheaper.
People need to look like this :j by getting some good deals from Boots + it'll also still be giving MR.B money in his tills ..

A lot of shops now are either empty with no customers or have closed down + I know that I don't want Boots to close down + it is a good shop.

    Angel x

The reason I don't quote stores is because I don't want Mr B identifying me from this thread. It is an open forum and people have caught out by Mr B in the past and their posts quoted. If you are aware that a certain is reduced, available on a glitch etc... it gives you a head start on the masses anyway. The chances are if you get the particular item in question price checked at your store and it is not reduced that it will be at some point in the very near future. Alternatively, ask via PM for the store, it is then upto the person posting wether they wish to divulge their location.

Anyway, sorry for the long winded rant, but it's how I feel and if the thread becomes no chat, then I don't think I will bother anymore - I'll just revert to lurking.:o

Came out of hiding for a minute to say ditto to wanna-b-rich who must have posted while I prepared my long speach...:o I don't like posting the store name because as my local Bootsers will know - and hopefully agree it is very hard to get a bargain/glitch in our store as it is and as I'm not able to drive and take myself to any other stores who don't know me I think it easier to keep the store ID hidden so I can shop in there without feeling too guilty for naming and shaming them ..... HTH ... I'm going now...

Anyone seen any Admit It You Want Me sets in central London? Nothing in Sedley Place yesterday, but ran out of time to look anywhere else.

I will admit, I do want one - to the point that I keep considering ordering it online, depsite the fact that postage will knock out any kind of saving!

    Hi Everyone

Jemclajess - glad to see you managed to get your foundation. Hope you & sally06 recvd my msg which I posted late last nite.

Managed to get a bargain in our local today:-

Bought Reduced Amazon Forest Range (Brazil Nut & vanilla)

Body Butter, Body wash and the Body scrub and surprisingly

the Body scrub went through as a £0.01. Very pleased I was -

I decided to try it again but no such luck - paid for it with my points.

Came home and received my .com order for the NO7 gwp items (not the Sanctuary one) my mens GWP had a expired points voucher and my S&G product didn't have the coupon in it either. Phoned Cust services and they credited me with 600 points which compensates for the points I spent today.

I think I have had a good Boots day today. Shame I can't decide what to spend my Perkies on.

    Hi everyone,

Does anyone know (or seen on their travels) if there is a GWP or extra points with Clairns at the minute?

I have a few Godmothers to buy for for Mother's day and I was going to get their hand & nail cream and put it with the JK files & some of the No7 Top Coat that I managed to get with the pinkies :)

Also has anyone used the Mini Mode PC coupon & the new Baby & You coupon together without it beeping?

    Thank you!!!

    Hi

Re Clarins there is 1000 points on .Com for 3 or more Clarins products - don't know if it is instore though.

Sorry :o I think I confused things there, what I meant was that clothes are excluded from the triple points, but they are still on bogohp- I think all the clothes are bogohp come to think of it :)

Anyone know if Mini Mode clothing actually counts towards a total spend voucher in the baby dept?
It`s nice to be important, but its more important to be nice.
The world is full of people throwing stones at us. Its what you do with them that counts. Build a wall or build a bridge.

Thing is, the SA said to me that the till usually beeps at her when she has to scan the perkie  . I've had other SA's tell me the same thing too.

Not to worry, if I can use the meal deals spends to help get perkies, then I will, thats the main thing.

Hi ballet shoes, I purchased a meal deal and a few bits and bobs, saturday so I could get a perkie, and I noticed that the screen she was looking at had a big orange sign come up to tell her to scan for a voucher , which she did, I didnt hear no bleeps, sorry to confuse things. hth

Sorry, can't help re: London, but my local doesn't stock them so i ordered 2 in store from the photo counter to pick up and paid with points. Fab for teacher presents for the end of year especially with 1/3 off.
