I will have caught up in a while, but in the meantime- incase it hasn't already been mentioned, I found this body polisher and these exfoliating gloves for 61p each. Hope this may help someone making pamper hampers xxx

I've just starting using a pair of exfoliating gloves and I love them. They leave my skin much softer and cut out the need for an exfoliator although you can still use one if you want to!!! I paid alot more than 61p for mine though!!! Bargain!!

Oops, came back from a very busy weekend and feel completely lost...:o I'm reading backwards too trying to catch up but can't get my head around with what's happening with the current discussion(?) taking place...:o

Been busy as my sis had a baby girl y'day!!!:j Finally, I might add as she was overdue by 8 days! And with a false alarm on sat 2!

I, as many others, am a newbie but enjoy reading the 'Boots Grabbit' thread and is how I have started building my courage & b more confident with my shops. I enjoy reading and learning from the shopping lists & feel like a part of a big family here. I also feel had it been only about the glitches this thread was about it would have been not so interesting; whoever contributes to it not only r sharing their expertise (sp) with us but also their time as it is not always straightforward & easy to put things in writing (quite a job in fact). I love reading posts from every1 & some do put a smile on my face very often...;)

Also agree, & this is MHO, quite lost on the Refugees; felt as an outsider so have visited a couple of times but left it to that... quite a lot of ppl who know each other by names and so forth so felt as a stranger...:o

Angel50, re ur post on sat about the Extract voucher from the mag being used more then once (as it specifies it can only b used once per person) I was a bit edgy when I did use this more then once and 4 the same reasons as u... but then I checked the previous mag & it's always on the conditions only 1 voucher per cmr tho we r allowed to have more then 1 mag (as per the 1st post)? I hope I have no comebacks from Mr B... would also appreciate n e 1s input on some vouchers (b4 my time here) on time delay from the mag that were used... what happened, had n e 1 had n e comebacks from Mr B? TIA

Also just wanted to add that I have never had so many goodies from Mr B as I have now and this is all thanks 2u all who have made it possible 4me... and just to think till recently I did not use the pinkies/perkies or whatever they were called, lol! What a waste...:o

Forgot to add (& plz 4give if this has already been mentioned) re the Extracts vouchers (150pts from ACM and 150pts from the mag) working both on a mini wash @ £1.62 (B's way in thanking us 4 buying the mini and paying us £1.38 in pts to take it away? ;) ) ; unfortunately the minis r not many 2 b seen but even on a full size wash @ £2.60 the deal is not bad... here Mr B gives us 40p in pts 2 take it away...:D

I just bought a meal deal in my teeny local to make up to over £5, to get a perkie. However, I (and the SA) checked my receipt, and it didn't have the "save £5 earn uk" printed on it. Any idea why this is? SA is lovely, and gave me a perkie anyway.

Its just that I was intending buying a meal deal a few times in this branch of Boots this week, to make up to a £5 spend (this is the only branch around here which has the No7 Night Sorbet on clearance, and I want them ;) ). But if the meal deal doesn't qualify for the perkie £5 spend, I'll have to trawl and look for a few bits of clearance/half price essentials to make it up.

I did another shop in the same branch just before my meal deal one, and it did print the "save £5 earn uk" on the receipt  .

The problem is, a lot of people want to remain anonymous (e.g. me ) and not state which store they use.

    Hi JT :)

I've never been able to overcome the same problem either. As many people know, after my username was 'outed' by my favourite SA  :D I found out that there's at least 3 SAs in my local stores that read the Boots threads, although not consistently, or avidly lol. That's why 99% of them are all :A :A ;)

Therefore in the unlikely event of me finding anything that remotely resembles a cheeky glitch in store, I doubt I'd give the store's name a mention, but I would mention a general area, or answer by PM. (Although not today as it keeps filling up lol)

People might think that they're not identifying themselves, but I can see occasions where they might be identifiable - especially where long and complicated posts are concerned, or where posters occasionally mention what store they'll be using and what type of pushchair they'll be pushing :) (That's not aimed at pushchair pushers btw, just an example :))

So as JT said, many people prefer to stay anonymous for many reasons, and in most cases, it's not such a bad idea. x

Btw, welcome back sally06 :) I can put the "Wanted" poster away ;)

(Apologies yet again for not posting a glitch, or a bargain, and for such a long-winded post. I'll try not to let it happen again ;))

Balletshoes, this is only on the receipt if the SA scans the perkies code (or whatever they've got as a barcode 2 scan) otherwise it is not on it... this is what I think from my observations when I've been given the receipt & the perkies... many of my other qualifying products did not have the 'save £5 earn UK' on the receipt as the SA never scanned them... Treated myself to the last £1.84 botanics facial pamper kit (with points) because no reduced no7 in the store I went to and all the "free" extracts had gone. Also no olay gwp to be seen. All the no7 accessories had full price sel's on, are they scanning cheaper?

Has anyone seen any of the new March/April H+B mags in centralish Edinburgh? I tried 4 stores yesterday with no luck - I only found Jan/Febs!

They have them in Fort Kinnaird. Not exactly central though, sorry!
