Hi :D, I dont know if its a good idea to put glitches in red as we dont want to draw too mauch attention to them. Mr B could spot it and fix it very quickly if its too obvious :D

I agree with you Sarnd. As I posted yesterday, the lists and chat hide some of the glitches, and then they last a bit longer (hopefully). And I also agree with another poster (sorry can't remember who) that we all learn new little bargains etc. from the lists. I did make a suggestion that maybe, to cut down the length of the thread, we could not quote the whole of really long posts. Don't know what everybody else thinks about this? :undecided

So it could be an idea to keep the posts simple in the mean time, using red for glitches(we can hope!), using store names in the title if specific deals at one store etc to make it easier for everyone, as CPG has requested umpteen times :)

....I wish everyone would do this, I find it frustrating that people are saying, I got this and this for this price but do not put which store, then you get people requesting which store was it at, therefore creating more posts. By the way I love to read everyones shopping lists, gives me ideas for when I go, Keep up the good work all you boots angels :A
The problem is, a lot of people want to remain anonymous (e.g. me ) and not state which store they use.

Don't know where you will get the reduced No7 - I bought some ages back in Cribbs but they now have the new ones in stock there at full price. I think Bristol is abit dry on bargains right now!!!

Yes, I agree with you! I went to Cribbs yesterday, but no reduced No 7. Nothing interesting there, Sanctuary travel sets still at full price, no putting sets. There were only Thornton chocs on the clearance :o

Came out empty handed  so did not get a chance to try the SS tills!

Also no bargains at the small Boots at the Triangle, and don't waste your time going to the Clifton Downs. I've never seen their clearance shelf ever

Hmmm. Just checked my receipt from yesterday, and I was charged £3.34 for a reduced sandwich, a lucozade and a set of 3 eggs. It classed it as a lunch, but offered no reduction?

It's strange isn't it? It doesn't look right however you look at it. I didn't think any meal deal could cost more than £2.99, except for the people in London who, I think, pay 50p more for everything. If I get a chance to pop into a store today, I'll ask a friendly SA to look over the receipt for me :)

I've just glanced down and seen your reply too, so thanks for that x Btw, I know people have been posting mails up from Boots about their changing meal deals and future suppliers, but I noticed that when the posts were made, there didn't seem to be any exclusions for Londoners, or people who buy from airports etc, as there usually is  If there aren't any exclusions, there might be a few southerners and airport users who are due a refund ;)

    Hi peeps :)

I received a delivery from dot come earlier, so for those that were asking about vouchers in the Sanctuary Body Treats thing, there's no voucher included. Unfortunately :rotfl: Hths.

BTW one and all, my DH has never smelled so gorgeous in all the years I've known him, thanks to Mr Boots!! When we first met in the early 60s, he informed me aftershave and deodorant were not manly at all, and it has been an uphill struggle since then, when I bought him some Old Spice. ;)

So thank you for all the Manly Glitches, cos he doesn't smell the least bit like a man in his 70s but like the Horny Hunk I met!

...........................Agent scarlett, you so make me smile. Your posts bring smiles to many a face, I bet! Thank you...:rotfl:

passion8, the trio of Creme Eggs as part of the meal deal worked ok for DD on Saturday.
Maybe the till sees things differentl if you buy reducd items as part of it, not sure.

Hi again ;) I'm presuming the Creme eggs have gone up, but even with reduced sandwiches etc, it's still showing that I've received 2 meal deals at the bottom of the receipt, iyswim :D But the receipt does look weird lol. I'll ask in store. Thanks again.
