    This boring old chestnut again!

Where are the people who complain about the chat on the thread to mods
It doesn't look as if anyone has complained about chat on Grabbit this time.

It all seems to be about an almighty row on Refugees which caused that thread to be shut down.

To any newbies on this thread, I'd say if your post has got anything remotely to do with your shopping trip in Boots or the latest offers, then this is the place for it. :)

Can everyone please, please move on?
Broclo - just a suggestion - but why not start the ball rolling by removing the more aggresive sentiment "move the f*** on" from your signature? :)

I was just wondering............ when you get an item price checked by a SA, does it always tell them the current selling price? Or, is it better to just get them to scan it, and void it off if it costs more than you are prepared to pay?

It's just that I have asked SA's to price check the Hand Saviour / Foot cream that some of you are getting 1/2 price, and they are still full price.

However, I have returned an item previously (without a receipt) and they have told me to get goods to exchange to the full, original value of the item - even though it was actually advertised throughout the store at 1/2 price at the time. (which was good as I had actually paid full price for it!!):D
minx - when they price check it, I wonder if they're not seeing an automatic till reduction or something like that?

    Hi, btw!

If there can only be this thread and the refugee thread then everyone might as well just keep posting in this one.

It's not unlike 1st and 2nd class stamps est1878. If we all stopped buying first class stamps, there'd be no problem. :)

But for as long as I'm able, and BG's permitting (grovel grovel ;)) I'll be sticking on this thread :)

It's been an enlightening day folks, and a good one. So thanks for that :) x

Btw, I asked about the trio of Cadbury's cream eggs earlier because I bought 2 in 2 x Meal Deals yesterday, alongside 2 x Shaper drinks (I know, it seems at odds with each other lol) and 2 x reduced sandwiches (75p) and saved the grand total of ....
....2p! :rotfl: £5.98 for 2 x reduced Meal Deals  I bought 2 x reduced M&S joints for 2p more the day before! :rotfl:

Take care peeps. Apologies for the off-topic stuff x

Yep, it's been a day and a half today!! May persuade DH to do a little Light Bootsing, combined with a trip out tomorrow, but if not, it looks like Thursday's my first session this week.

    Good luck to everyone!

Hmmm. Just checked my receipt from yesterday, and I was charged £3.34 for a reduced sandwich, a lucozade and a set of 3 eggs. It classed it as a lunch, but offered no reduction?

BTW my name is neither Sandra nor Scarlett, but when I was a child, a great aunt told me that one of our ancestors was called Zandra Scarlett (very exotic!), and I thought that if I ever "broke into films", that would be my stage name!

The only film I have ever appeared in, apart from family videos, is a training film run by the Local Education Authority, when I was teaching, where my starring role was to pretend to mark an essay with a cluster of children round me.

Unfortunately, one of the Little Darlings moved at the crucial time, but it was a very good shot of my right hand, holding my pen! :T :T
:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: Sorry to quote, but this made me :rotfl: .

Jazz Teddy, I am so sorry. I've just realised that I've read through and corrected your spellings, paragraphing, capital letters etc, thinking it was my own, and I don't know how to undo it now!!!!!

Sorry, it's habit! Please forgive me.

    xx

Ooh SS, would you mind if I send you my Open Uni essay before I submit it for marking please? :rotfl:
