I agree with you Sarnd. As I posted yesterday, the lists and chat hide some of the glitches, and then they last a bit longer (hopefully). And I also agree with another poster (sorry can't remember who) that we all learn new little bargains etc. from the lists. I did make a suggestion that maybe, to cut down the length of the thread, we could not quote the whole of really long posts. Don't know what everybody else thinks about this? :undecided

A simple way to cut down the length of the thread is to reply to a specific question with a pm otherwise you tend to get loads of lovely people answering the same question. Also 'you have a pm' posts always seem to defeat the object!
This brings me to ask, which is the best mascara under a tenner? I want long luscious lashes! Please PM me!

BTW is the mini mode glitch still working?:D

Balletshoes, this is only on the receipt if the SA scans the perkies code (or whatever they've got as a barcode 2 scan) otherwise it is not on it... this is what I think from my observations when I've been given the receipt & the perkies... many of my other qualifying products did not have the 'save £5 earn UK' on the receipt as the SA never scanned them... HTH

Thing is, the SA said to me that the till usually beeps at her when she has to scan the perkie  . I've had other SA's tell me the same thing too.

Not to worry, if I can use the meal deals spends to help get perkies, then I will, thats the main thing.

thanks SS. I don't really want to stop posting, but all this talk of 2 threads is tiring. We keep going round and round in circles on this one:rolleyes: This thread would never work if the chat was taken away. If it ain't broke don't fix it:D

Hi Sally glad you stayed xx

Totally agree with you re going round in circles. Without the contributions of people there would no thread, no bargains etc.

Nope it ain't broken but I think obviously some people must want it broken for whatever agenda

Surely, if we don't discuss potty training, leaving home after a row, messy eating etc on here (must stop describing my DH!) there's no need to complicate things with 2 boards - is there?

If it's felt necessary, then I assume Grabbit posts will just be something like:

Hi. Today I got xyz, couldn't get abc, but managed to find pqr. It costs £x. There's an ACM voucher for Newbie & Silly for 150 points when you buy skin cream.

    And that's it, is it?

    xx

my thought exactly SS. I don't think I will bother posting anymore:(

I also agree that without a bit of chat the thread would not be worth reading nor posting on.

I also think that the people who just come on here to find out the bargains and glitches without contributing to it, would be able to find them a lot easier and real 'Bootsers' would miss out.
As someone (sorry, can't remember who), also said, if Mr B's staff were reading, which we know they do, they could also find things a lot easier and fix glitches a lot quicker.
Personally I love to read of SS's exploits and a mixture of chat and lists, although I agree that the thread moves on far too quickly. Miss a nights reading and its travelled on so far its hard to catch up. In those cases I have to just skim over most of the pages, just reading the bits that look interesting.
I for one would not bother to go to other threads to find the Boots stuff or chat.

    Hi everyone,

Does anyone know (or seen on their travels) if there is a GWP or extra points with Clairns at the minute?

I have a few Godmothers to buy for for Mother's day and I was going to get their hand & nail cream and put it with the JK files & some of the No7 Top Coat that I managed to get with the pinkies :)

Also has anyone used the Mini Mode PC coupon & the new Baby & You coupon together without it beeping?

    Thank you!!!

If you remember a little while back the malteasers, revels etc big bags (£1.50ish) were no longer going through as part of the meal deal.
Does anybody know if you can now?

The cans of red bull go through now as the drink at £1.70 odd too if that helps anybody :)
