Sorry, can't help re: London, but my local doesn't stock them so i ordered 2 in store from the photo counter to pick up and paid with points. Fab for teacher presents for the end of year especially with 1/3 off.

Aha! I was trying to find out if something like this is possible, as I would like to use my points, but got confused.

Do you know, can you do this in any store, or are there particular stores you have to order from? What's the general procedure?

    Thank you!

Blimey! I feel like I've just walked into my classroom and had to deal with the usual girl's falling out (sorry, but it's the girl's in my Year 6 class that are constantly falling out not the boys! Just had a meeting with their parents as all hell had broken out! Oh, the irony!)

Anyway, nice to see a fellow teacher on this thread. Hi Sandra! :hello: I'm also guilty of correcting spellings on posts! Oops. :o

Anyway, Boots related. London Colney had lots of past 17 gwp for £1. There were the smokey eye tins, vintage, gold bags and some others. Nothing else really.

Hi, you can go into almost any boots (don't know about the rebranded Alliance ones ) usually at the photo counter. It helps if you have the product codes to hand. Then just tell them you want to pay with points. hth

Popped into Boots on the way home to get 5.00 top-ups for my mobile, OP's mobile and DD's mobile. Three separate transactions, three perkies  - and no brain strain trying to add up how much I was spending, and working out which combination of purchases would get me the most perkies. :o :T

Just a nice straightforward process of paying over 5.00 for something I need, and getting back a perkie - which will be 5.00 towards something I want.

I honestly think this has been one of the best tips I've picked up from the Grabbit board, as it works for me every time (and I can't always say that! :rotfl: ).

So I thought it was worth giving people a reminder, and a heads up to our new members who hadn't already heard about it/figured it out.

Thank you! Looks like I can pick up .com orders from my tiny local, so I will give this a whirl.
