can someone pm me the list of clinique free gifts as i can't find them on .com, also the eye shadow for clairins, bl''dy site!! so slow,

seen an advert for the new vo5 range so we should be seeing reductions on that soon to get rid of the 'old' stock
Check out here and look down the left hand side for 'By promotion' there are 5 listed
This is a do-it-yourself test for paranoia: you know you've got it when you can't think of anything that's your fault.

Did a Bootsing marathon shop and found out a few things:

Clinique gwp: The new one that starts Monday (when you buy two items) is sort of a vinyl white tray with a floral pattern on the inside and it snaps at the corners to make walls to the tray. Sitting on it are facial cleanser and .... oooh, I was in Boots too long and don't recall the rest! Except that none of it was going to tempt me to buy Clinique products that I don't need right now. The tray especially was a bit of a let-down.

Elizabeth Arden gwp: You currently get 1000 points if you buy EA (yeah, right, as though I'd pay in cash!). A new gwp starts Saturday when you buy a fragrance and a skincare item. It's a blue bag filled with mascara, bronzer and other goodies (I didn't see the bag, but the nice SA described it).

Getting a freebie gwp: I also discovered that if you are getting a Vichy gwp but aren't buying vichy, don't pay with points. The till won't take it. Someone may have mentioned it, but I wasn't sure so I tried it anyway. Not good, as the till says one of the items doesn't qualify to be paid with points, so the SA has to have a looksie.

Keep your eyes peeled for big reductions in the dental aisle, seem to be different ones being reduced every few days. Today I got colgate kids toothbrush, for 47p, Colgate Massager toothbrush for 69p, Aquafresh Extreme toothpaste for 50p, Colgate kids toothpaste 32p. Seems to be different store different reductions.
Also got 2 of the botanics facial pamper sets for £1.84, as DD has decided she likes this range for her skins' spotiness/dryness combo. So I'm stocking up!

Mimi Glad to hear that you Dad is doing so well, the love and care you give him must be doing him the world of good.
How about trying the Boots Extracts Cocoa Butter lip balm was £3.42 now £2.27. If you have the acm 150 points and 150 mag points, works out Mr B is paying you to take it away for a free trial! It smells fantastically chocolately (but doesn't taste of much)

My SA was lovely today, she recognised me, and knew to split my basket and try all the extracts vouchers, then said "You'll have to come and give lessons on how to get all the bargains" !:rotfl:

Harrow, St Georges clearance has disapeared (or is very well hidden!) foundation and compacts back up to half price and No. 7 SA said no to perkies, (before I even asked, I was just looking :o) quite a bit of reduced No.7 sun and skin. H+B mags run out. No extract minis, but do have the lipbalms. Quite a few of the olay green GWP, (not on the shelf but on a card aisle end stand near the bathing stuff) didn't see any others.
St Annes, Little bit of reduced No 7, I think all SA's have been told not to accept perkies on clearance. (was shouted across the store on Monday ) Loads of H+B mags. Reductions on dental not as good as St Georges.

Clinique - Boots bonus time - 16 March to 4 April (anyone have a description of the gift??)

    Elizabeth Arden - ???

Clarins - Online you currently get a "Travel Treats" gift when you order two items, but there's no pic. Don't know if this is in-store, too. It is described as:
    • Lancome: Online you currently get two gwps when you buy two select items (seems like most of the range) - a nice looking giftset and a bronzer and brush gift.
    • Estee Lauder - Checked the official site here and didn't see anything listed for Boots.
Hi skibster thanks for taking the time to research this list, its much appreciated. I particularly love the Estee Lauder gifts, they are the ones that always tempt me:j :j

The Vichy sets don't say "unrecognised item" - well they didn't yesterday.
They say "one free" on the SS tills (thanks for pointing out the bit about not paying with points on them though skibster. So did they change from "one free" to "unrecognised item" after you chose "pay with points"?)

I had trouble with the La Roche Posay free kits - they do say "unrecognised item" at SS tills. This is because they don't need scanning at all, I believe they're supposed to be handed out by the premium skincare rep (don't know if she does anything special with them, or just pop them in a bag for you to take away).

About ten days ago I bought reduced No7 foundation(£7) with £2 and a purple. Not a glitch, the manageress in our little local branch was actively encouraging people to buy it that way!

Today they had some more reduced No7 foundation but this time the till beeped

Apparently "the rules changed recently"

Does this mean the new No7 accessories range will go through now without beeping?
