Have you tried the M & S meal deals. They are £2, for a sandwich/ pasta/ or mini salad bowl/ bag of crisps/ any drink.
No points, but very good value and lots of choice.
Glad your dad seems to be responding well to his treatment, seems you have had lots to deal with this last year.
But your comment ' I'm like an Indian Summer in the middle of Winter', shows how positive you are able to be. :)

I have seen the M & S meal deal offer but I don't shop there, so will stick to Boots I think. Besides 1 meal deal, a few other bits and you get a sexy PURPLE or whatever too, you don't get that anywhere else.

Dad seems to be doing really good. Thanks to everyone that asks about him. He should be OK in a month or two, well not OK, but you know what I mean.

"Indian Summer in the middle of Winter" is just a lyric I pinched from Katy Perry's new song. But I am Indian, and I am warm and lovely (or so people say) hence the Summer and this is more or less the middle of Winter (though it should be Spring!), so I thought it would fit perfectly. Go me!

Managed to get 2 x Extracts Mini's and got the points for them too. Used a SS for 1 and almost wet myself when it worked, I thought the security guard would come and pinch me! If the SEL says £2.50 or something like that for the Mini's, don't worry, the till takes 1/3 off it, and hence the £1.63. Also, saw quite a few VICHY FREE things in ALBION STREET LEEDS, but wasn't man enough to actually do it. So put it back.

Also, can anyone recommend a tasty lip balm to me? I'm bored of the Palmer's Cocoa Butter thing cos it doesn't even taste of mint! I don't want anything girly and I don't want a shiny one. Just something that will keep my beauties smooth and lip-lickingly-delish. Cheers.

My DD1 has dry straw like hair which seemed to be made worse by 'childrens' shampoos and conditioners. She is now using Herbal Essence (I think the extra shine or ultra shine something like that), and her hair has never looked so lovely. Which is good as I have rather a lot of Herbal Essence to use :o
Ohh my DD1 is also 9 - spooky
Have you got any of the Herbal Essence conditioners, bet you have ;)
Some of those are really good. But I can highly recommend the Pantene Sachets, (that a few of us have hanging around :rotfl:).
I have used the Pantene for just this problem, even my OH said " Can I have one of those sachet things...
As it made my hair lovely and soft", Aaaah he is too spoilt. HTH.
Its lovely here today. Am off to check out the ACM..will update everyone later..
By telling you all that nothing has changed probably (lol).:)

Just saw your post Mimi, you always make us smile, all that pouting must be hard work though..
Have you tried the Extracts coconut Lip Balm @ £2.60, with a possible 300 extra points. ;)
My DS uses it and says its good, not too strong to taste and doesn't make his lips tooo glossy! :)

New Grandson born late last night, whopping 9lb 8oz, both fine, coming home today!! Already? Used to have to stay in for a week, but that was in the middle ages. So thats another reason to go to Boots. I was so excited I started buying things so early, little Mini Mode clothes for a 0 - 3 month old and first size nappies. Now none of it will be any use after a fortnight. Do I care? No. Need to buy more.

It`s nice to be important, but its more important to be nice.
The world is full of people throwing stones at us. Its what you do with them that counts. Build a wall or build a bridge.

    What lovely news Rosy.:j
Hope both mummy and baby are doing fine. He sounds like a whopper.
You might be able to exchange some of the items you have already for the next size up, might be worth checking.
If you explain that you bought all the clothes before he arrived, they should help you. Once again congratulations. :)
