New Grandson born late last night, whopping 9lb 8oz, both fine, coming home today!! Already? Used to have to stay in for a week, but that was in the middle ages. So thats another reason to go to Boots. I was so excited I started buying things so early, little Mini Mode clothes for a 0 - 3 month old and first size nappies. Now none of it will be any use after a fortnight. Do I care? No. Need to buy more.

Congrats hope you made use of the mini mode offer ;)

Also, can anyone recommend a tasty lip balm to me? I'm bored of the Palmer's Cocoa Butter thing cos it doesn't even taste of mint! I don't want anything girly and I don't want a shiny one. Just something that will keep my beauties smooth and lip-lickingly-delish. Cheers.
Mimi, I've said before that the Body Shop brazil nut lip butter is fantastic.

I'm currently using a rather good Badger Tangerine Breeze. :)

Long time no see   I know you did flower, but I don't like nuts and to taste them on my beauties would just make me hurl! I want something glamorous and sexy so people will be drawn to them even more. Will have to check out the Tangerine thing. Do they do a crisp flavoured one? LOL.

Congratulations. My Great Nephew was due on Monday but is still keeping my Niece and the rest of us waiting.

To keep this on topic DH and I are visiting Southampton from from Thursday to Sunday and will be going Bootsing. I was wondering if anyone could please tell me where to find the reductions stands in either of the Boots stores there or in the stores in Portsmouth which we will also be visiting.

    TIA

    Hi everyone,
Might be going to Leeds Crown Point at the weekend, just wondering if anyone's been recently if there's anything particular to look out for, and where to find clearance if there is one etc?
    TIA

My OH loves strawberry flavour lypsyl, not tried it myself but apparently it tastes yum and he doesn't find it too shiny or owt.

Hi again everyone:hello: and thank you for the lovely welcome yesterday.

I went out to my local Boots first thing this morning in search of a few bargains but didn't do too well. As expected the clearance stands had much the same as last week, a few suntan products, some toothbrushes and toothpaste and not much else of interest. Lots of self tan thingies reduced to 50p I think.

I was determined to find something but couldn't see any of the mentioned GWP's anywhere, other than the green and brown Olay box which I already have and am not that impressed with. There were a few of the Definity Pore Cleansers though so you could pick one up for £5.* if you wanted.

In the end I did 2 transactions of just over £6 to get 2 more perkies and spent the 3 I already had on 2 of the No7 Nail Buffer sets (free with Perkie) and an eyeshadow brush (60p with perkie)

The ACM didn't give me anything new apart from a voucher for a free recycle bag which I had to pick up at the tills but guess what? They didn't have any so not sure if I can get that voucher again as it says it's for today only. I was a bit peeved but in a hurry so no chance to try another till.........

I forgot to say that there were quite a few of the Extracts mini's, body wash, body butter and lip balm and I bought one and used a 150pts magazine voucher with no problems. Couldn't find any mini's for the T&G voucher though.
