I am frustrated with the No7 vouchers - trying to use them but two stores won't let me use them against reduced items! You want a bargain and you can't get it!

Tried against No7 Make up mirror with light - which was half price - but can't use them on electricals - thought it was worth a try. Also, Ruby make up sponges - no go only cosmetics. I tried the bit of but how do you put makeup on with out a sponge to the male SA - no joy!!

Never mind - earnt another 2 for the trouble!

Managed to get dropped off at boots today by good friend, had an hour to spend there but a bit of a waste of time tbh. No s&g bags again, no mini botanics again, no reduced nc again, see a pattern here:think: Managed to get last Botanics facial pamper £1.84, nair hair removal cream 200ml £1.99, .com is £4.88 and needed it, fancy knee highs cos you never know! £1.50 had a 100pts on hosiery out of acm but would only print one , went to the nice sa and tried to get reduced no7 but she said they had all been told yesterday that no purkies to be used on reduced AT ALL:eek: so they got put straight back. Foundation compact is down to £6 but again no purkies to be used with this, sa said she couldn't see any of them making good sales in the next couple of weeks as everyone had put reductions back as well as other shopping, fellow bootsers maybe:rolleyes: The two things I really really wanted golf thingies which I think you lot are all doing a wind up on me about cos never had a sniff of one:rotfl:and the new lunch bag thingies, not out till tomorrow:mad:, sorry for yapping on hth someone, Teri x

my oh is exactly the same, i know im mad aswell my house it full to the brim with boots bags (full ones of course).

had a decent shop today as i never seem to find clearance but i managed to get

macleans toothpaste 49p
all with points so free:j
ive looked in 4 stores and cannot find any extracts minis or lipgloss
there wasnt any gillette what im desperatly trying to find
a lot of perfume was reduced too,cant remember which but was a good bit off,the one i can remember was ralph lauren gift box reduced to about £12 or something like that
tried acm but was pants
the sanctuary set was still full price so out of 4 stores only 1 had them reduced

I managed to get the No7 comacts and the foundation with purkies today!
The Boots which I went to just said they put the £5 through as a £5 boots voucher. Paid £1.35 x 3 for compacts and £2 x 2 for foundations. Also as they put the vouchers through like this it said i was entitled to vouchers back with each transaction so came out with same amount of purkies I went in with.

Swansea quadrant has moved the clearance shelves into the old cafe area.

No7 tan enhancer (bright blue bottle) £1, lots of Mediterranean butters & body washes etc reduced but quite pricy.

This was £7.50:

Mattress covers for allergy sufferers were £20+

Light green NC eyeshaddows 75p (?)

Easy to resist these 'bargains' :rolleyes:

Not sure if this has already been mentioned (I'm normally several steps behind!), but I got the No 7 Ultimate File and Buffer Compact (£4.89) for free with a perkie today. Think the whole range goes through. They were in the Nail/Accessories aisle, not on the No 7 stand.

Hi Lucy,

They don't give them out at the self scan tills :rolleyes: if you queue up with your receipt at the main tills and explain, they should give you a No 7 voucher though.

Usually I only use the SS tills for getting rid of vouchers, so the receipts can look a bit dodgy (especially if I have got more back in points than I have spent in cash!) so I usually sacrifice the No 7 voucher on those transactions- the SA's can be very difficult and strict, and I have had many occasions where I've tried to use, say, a No 7 voucher along with a 250 point voucher and told I cannot use the 2 together at manned tills :rolleyes:
So while SS tills are brill for voucher combining, personally I don't think it's worth the hassle of having a glitchy receipt interrogated in order to get another No 7 voucher!
Apparently some other stores have an SA by the SS tills handing out the vouchers, but I have never seen anyone do this in Oxford I'm afraid.

I haven't tried the extracts glitch yet, but I'm sure others have reported only having 1 lot of 150 points added despite both vouchers seeming to scan ok

I managed to get an extracts lip balm though and also a loreal gwp:T .

I used the SS till, and put both the ACM extracts coupon and the mag coupon, both scanned but when I checked my receipt only the ACM points went on :mad:

Did I do something wrong? Also, didn't get a perkie, have they stopped giving them out now?

Hiya - its sooo annoying that your store keeps having the reduced ovulation kits - mine never do!!! Did manage to get a couple of pregnancy test for £1 each tho last week!! LOL!! If I ever get passed the ovulation kit stage!!! What store is this actually - I might have to come & stalk your store for them!! :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
