I think thats all part of the fun of it, I do it and think everyone else does to a certain extent.

I dread to think what a Psychologist or even a Psychiatrist would make of us. Thousand of people all around the country standing looking in cupboards & wardrobes, just smiling:)

Don't forgot occasionally getting everything out the cupboard, setting it out nicely on a bed/table etc, and going "ooooh pretty" - or is that just me :o :rotfl: :o ?

And having the occasional stroke of a particularly lovely item - or had I better just not go there :o:o:o ??

Tomorrow it's my 1 year anniversary of Bootsing / nephews 1st birthday / 1 year since Dad was diagnosed with cancer (he has started eating again, and seems to be on the road to recovery (thank you Lord!))/ 1 year since Sister's breakdown. I don't know if I should be celebrating or hiding in a corner and feeling sorry for myself. Having deliberated for a few hours, instead of feeling sorry for myself and dwelling on all the hardships, I've decided to let my hair down and spend lots of money at Boots on stuff I will probably never use and buy lots of new clothes!

I can still remember being a complete newbie a year ago with my £1.49 worth of points on my AC card. I wouldn't even dare post. I just came on and took note of all the bargains people were writing about. Take a look at me now with my £165 worth of points, I'm like a proper Boots bargain hunter, I know exactly where to look for clearance sections and reduced SEL's. Go me! Thanks to everyone for welcoming me on here, especially Pash, Pollsdolls, Melgirl, Babafette, Angie100, (I've probably missed a few others out, but my mind is all over the place at the moment) everyone that has sent me supportive pm's recently and everyone else for listening to me waffle on about my woes and bargains on the forum.

On a side not, if anyone is suffering from any form of hardships, be it personal or family related, NEVER let it beat you. It will get you down, but keep battling it and you will win. The last year has been hell for me and everyone else in my family, but we all got through it. You may cry for weeks on end, but you bloody well can get through it! (A bit of Bootsing on the side always helps too: cheap presents and lots of points! I've just walked into Boots, left my worries and bullish at the door, and just indulged in mindless shopping. It seriously helps!) If anyone has any problems and want to get it off their chest, by all means pm me. I won't be able to fly down like Superman and save you, but I can sit and listen and be there at the end of the computer.

Thanks everyone. Keep up the posting. Keep up the Bootsing. Lots of love and happiness to one and all.

I don't reallywant to snip this post Mimi, as I don't want to detract from it.

You are right to celebrate, as it is a major milestone in your life, look how far you have come despite all the obstacles that life has put in your way.

Sometime when we travel a hard road, we wonder how we will ever get through the day, but somehow we do.

It's only with the passing of time that we are able to look back and see just how far we have gone down that sorry road.

You give a lot of yourself on here and I hope you are paid back in spades. Congratulations for surviving the past year and all that life threw at you and your family. You're made of strong stuff:heart2:

Your sig is so apt - I'm like an Indian Summer in the middle of Winter.

    :T :T :T :T :T :T :T :T

    snipped...............

my parcels were left 'behind a big tree' - as this is not possible (no big trees at my house lol) they will arrange to send them again.
However.... received emails today to say that 'the following items have been refunded' - namely the GWPs, then the dispatch email for product only, no GWP :(
Am I being a moany old (well, 28) woman?!!

Bad luck, but there will be others and I hope you manage to get them. Some lucky person now has your order, that's even more annoying for you.

Part of the Furniture Combo Breaker
Just a heads up that the Didcot branch is going to have the opticians moving in - thus there is going to be 10% less retail floor space - and current random reductions of up to 75% on some lines.

Over the last week or so, there have been deodorants, some hair products, Always/ Bodyform products - not all, Hipp baby food and batteries reduced - and according to the staff, this will continue for a while, so if you're in the vicinity, it would be well worth a look.

They also have 3 or 4 LS Box of Tricks remaining - clearance price labelled at £17.99.
