First of all, regarding National Express Funfairs, Dee & I are going the week after next to Bournemouth. It is costing us £1 each way on the coach (NE) and our Travel Lodge room is £9 between us per night!!!! :j

That is what is called a Bargain!! We are seeing Flashdance one night for £10 each, and You Don't Bring Me Flowers the next night! I'm very pleased with this deal, and of course we can go to Boots branches in Bournemouth, Boscombe, Christchurch .........!!! :T

In the 4 Canary Wharf shops, the Stay Perfects varied all the time, because we had them scanned on SA tills, whereas the SS till scanned at £3.30??????????

BV then wanted to go to the West End, and I dragged my suitcase around so many branches, I can't think straight! She is worse than me, and struck up conversations with the SAs giving the Perkies at all the SS tills, and was always given one, and one for me! ;)

In fact there were so many problems with SS tills breaking down, that at one I asked if we could have 2 Perkies as we'd been there so long, and the SA said "sure girls!" icon7.gif

I got home 10 hours after I'd started out, but what a great day! I also now have 7 Perkies, plus 4 New Extracts ACM vouchers, with the accompanying mag ones.

    xx

Sanda Scarlett you amaze me, how do you so it, womble all these perkies I mean. I think I have you rumbled now. You just charm them with your come to bed eyes don't you (well the boys anyway) but getting extra pekies out of the girls, well, I have never managed it. So good on ya girl, and to dee as well. She is a great apprentice to you.

I am lucky to get the one I am entitled to, and have only managed to 'find' an extra one up to now. Are you releasing a DVD with your tips on anytime in the future? If so can you please put my name on the mailing list. Thanks you.

Btw whats that all about the SS tills scanning the foundation at a cheaper price than the SA tills:confused: yet another Boots conundrum

Last year when some toys went 75% off and 3 for 2 I had a toy price checked at the pharmacy and it scanned at 1/2 price. I still wanted it so took it to the main tills to pay and it scanned at 75% off. It was quite annoying actually as I'd picked a more expensive toy to be my 'free' one iyswim but the toy i thought was only 1/2 price ended up being my free one. :)

Got quite (well very- sad person that i am) excited to see the new Extracts reduced to clear today-Full Size Body Butters reduced to £2 PLUS an extra 1/3 off! :A of an SA tried both vouchers (saw her scanning them) but neither would work :( Asked her why they were on the clearance stand when they were a new range and she said they "were coming off the stores planner"-whatever that means! And also said thats the same reason the vouchers wouldnt register.

Just a heads up for anyone thats tried and likes these or that may be luckier than i was with the vouchers..xx

edit: forgot to say they also had shelves of these for £1

and these for 50p (just realised these also have a 1/3rd off-so would be less)

Well spotted :D Sometimes I think pollsdolls is in a world of her own ;)

(Btw pollsdolls, I've just seen your excellent 'list' in the chat thread and LOL. I'll reply to your earlier question in there later *wink* - otherwise I'll be wayyy off-topic.)

    On-Topic :)

It looks like there might be a few of the travel items reduced. I picked up an Expert in-flight pamper kit containing: lip protector, hydrating moisturiser, hydrating eye cream, whitening toothpaste, mini hairbrush, mirror and toothbrush, all in a see-through bag priced at £4.00 :)

Back to the grindstone. *More groans*

Just a heads up, Birmingham High St. had loads of putting sets, with a sticker free when you buy 2 products.I got 2 shaving gels at 97p each. Also loads of the new green Olay GWP, although I did buy the cleanser. No clearance that I could find, although I had to abandon my trip as DIL is due today and was taken into hospital, so I may have a new grandson today!!!!!!!!!!
