Think the despatch email says they will deliver between 8am and 7pm-hth...x

Thanks Karen - it's so hit and miss. I think Boots could do with a complete overhaul of the home delivery. They nearly always deliver earlier than they say so you really don't know when to wait in. I've always had to give a signature so don't think they would just leave it if I wasn't home!
  • Thanks Karen Mac, Sweeny & minimoneyme for your help X

Just had a look at the 250pts voucher (old xmas one) says can be used when you buy any product from the No7 range, however it also says not with any other offer or discount only one coupon per transaction blah blah, not that she looked at it, so even if I had given her this fist me thinks she was having none of it.

Will try and use this voucher & perkie at another store when they are really busy or might brave the SS tills (shaking at the thought Lol!)

At the very least I have the Indulgent bath range to fall back on, otherwise the voucher is pretty useless, a mere 250pts goes nowhere on No7 if you can’t combine IYKWIM

    Thanx again

Just had a quick look back, and noticed peeps mentioning the 250 points.

I'm not sure where I got my 250 points voucher from - as in a GWP or a No7 set in the Christmas items, but it worked today on reduced No7 Stay Perfect Foundation.

But then again - another store 100 yards away would only take the perkie on the same foundation if it was £14 ..! As if :D So I'm not surprised that there's some confusion. I'd normally say "hth" but I doubt it will :rotfl:

I have hung on to these vouchers for so long, (mine were for 50 points only though)
hoping to find some elusive reduced priced items.
My vouchers are probably covered in cobwebs by now!
Thanks for the heads up about the expiry date...No doubt, I will find a masssive pile of socks and tights reduced....

came to £8.90 and I got 328 points back - thought that was great but just looked at receipt and was charged 48p for each bag of crisps:mad: how dare they eh;) it says at the bottom of receipt that I have now bought 3 meal deals and only need another 2 to get one free - do I not need a card or something to validate this?? sorry, never bought a meal deal in boots before?

Meal deals 6 for 5 paying with points: I hadn't spotted this before, but even when paying with points for the meals they count towards the 5 necessary to get a free one in a month period. I hadn't tried this before, because I thought I had to pay cash to be eligible for the free one. Sorry if this is duplicate.

However, I am not sure about amelia'smummy post... I normally pay cash and on that one occasion I paid with points and it still assumed the number of meals not how I paid for them...

I've had this with clearance crisps before. Often the sticker doesn't work so they have to either manually enter it or sometimes have a sheets of special barcodes and they use one of those for the appropriate reduced price.

But I was thinking since all your sarnies were reduced to 75p it would have worked out cheaper to not have paid it as a meal deal (although I do think the til would recognise it as a meal deal if done in the same transaction).
    My reasoning for this is:
    sandwich reduced 75p
    mini eggs £1.07
diet coke 75p (as part of 2 for £1.50)
This would make £2.57 which is less than the meal deal (£2.99 but £3.49 in London).
Plus if you get lots of snacks as well as a meal deal it will automatically include the highest price snack as the one included in the meal deal.

For Mr B to know how many meal deals you've had in a calender month you need to use your advantage card each time (regardless of how you pay for it).

To be eligible for your 6 for 5 meals in a calender month it doesn't matter how you pay for it, you could pay for them all with points if you wanted you would still get your 6th one free.

So to get the best of your meal deals choose the most pricey sandwich (normally a triple) or salad, a pricey drink (someone mentioned innocent smoothie. or use a deal that is BOGOF so you get the 2nd drink free) and then a pricey snack (at the moment it's the triple pack of cadbury cream eggs. even I'm getting sick of them now but then I was the one who unleashed it on you all). Enjoy!:D

VQ, I've used the 250pts on any No7 with my Perkies on No7 items and have been sucessful on redeeming these... but have done this @ SS tills, lol! :D The only problem I've found is when I've tried to use the pts voucher on clearence items where, generally, the tills beeped... on manned tills it was very much hit & miss as many SA's refuse to take them both 2gether... HTH

Does the 250 points no 7 skincare work on the exfoliator that goes through free? :) Thanks x
Also tiaria I would call and get my points, it is at least £2 worth if you spent over £50. The glitch has been busted now anyway and its not like they're going to make you send the sanctuary stuff back is it? HTH. :)

My meal deal was charged at 3.49 this lunchtime (I'm not in London). It came up on the reciept as lunch too

Edited to say - this was Oxford and the signs do still say 2.99
