I noticed yesterday that skittles are 3 for £1 at the moment, does that mean I could get 3 packets within one meal deal??
Yes, you should be able to :D It seems to work with any of the confectionery, crisps etc that have an offer on

There were no urban decay products reduced but I bought 3 x pencil sharpeners at £3.92 each and got the 1000 points and a £5 voucher. I would have got another 3 sharpeners and 1000 points but there were only 2 left. I'd like to buy one of the Babyliss hair straighteners that are on offer for £28.xx and I only started off with £8 of points today. I might check out Chelmer Village branch to see if they do Urban Decay as the Meadows branch doesn't sell it.
Hi Shirlgirl :hello: I don't think they do sell Urban Decay in the retail park, but I noticed recently that they had a few Urban Decay "pallettes" on the clearance stands near the baby stuff for £5 and £8. Don't know if they are still there hun as the clearance stands are swamped with all sorts of stuff...reduced No7, Palmolive bath stuff, botanics, swimwear, Lancaster suncreams, gillette, couple of kids toys, Regaine womens hair stuff, an Origins gift set for £15 but looks tatty, etc, etc and one xmas Soap and Glory set with the glove but with a sticker on it for £9 something and "price not to be over-ridden" written on it  Don't know it it would go through with a 1/3rd off or not - didn't try as have so much S & G from earlier in the year :o
Managed to get some very cheap foundations despite the purplie beeping as :A SA was having none of it telling me they were sopposed to work on No 7 and she over rode the till :T :A Was well pleased as you can imagine!
Loving reading about agent Scarletts escapades in our stomping ground. Shame we didn't spot you Sandra! x

Just thought I would say thank you to whoever it was that recommended the Nick Lowe spot gel on this board. On Thursday I woke up with a spot so big it needed it's own postcode, however this gel is a real miracle worker as by Friday it was coverable, and now it is all but gone. I had a big weekend with a 40th Birthday party and then another birthday outing on Saturday night so I was especially pleased that this gel works. TIA:D

Oh my gosh. Are you for real. I got a big spot on my forehead and used the stupid Nice Lowe Spot Gel which has just made it bigger. "Targeted and Instant Action" it says on the box, "My Foot" is what I say! Can I take it back without a receipt? Or do they sell it all over the place?
Thanks for teh facial hair/blackhead advice, really helpful. :) Geordie-lass Thanks, I have tried the lotion and the scrub worked better for me. :) I think it was actually you who recommended the range to me ages ago. :) It worked well for a while but has become less effective over time. However i gave the lotion to my sister and it really helps her skin. :)

Oooh, did I miss something here? What products were recommended to you? I suffer from blackheads or are they whiteheads on my nose too. I've tried those posh nose strip things but they are expensive and not that effective. Do spill if you know of anything. Ta muchly.

And finally, has anyone used the Extracts ACM/MAG vouchers on the SS tills and does it go beep or not?

    Have a great Sunday all. x x x

    Hi

Glad you got on with the gel. It really is excellent and takes the redness out whilst drying the spot but not the skin around the spot. I bought loads of it when we had the last voucher as it was on offer at £4.36 I think so it meant it was free with the voucher. I cleared the shelf the last time!!! I think there were only 4 on the shelf though lol!!!:T

hi, i use clean and clear blackhead clearing cleanser and thankfully, its working. use it morning and evening. Like you, i too have used soo much stuff ffor blackheads and spots but nothing seems to jump out. clean and clear makes the blackheads go away quickly. I thought the Nick Lowe spot gel was O.K but not fab as sometimes i use it and it makes no difference but other times it just reduces the size. I'm trying to create a routine on it to see if actually is effective, into my 2nd week now....

Mimi love your spots are an exception to the rule lol - I found the gel to be great as did my sister!!!!:rotfl:

You should be able to return it though if it didn't do what it said it should for you.

Are you sure your spots aren't to do with a food allergy or product allergy as they don't seem to respond to spot treatments. You can get allergy testing done through your doc I think.
