    Hiya finnigan
You should have no problem getting a refund but the SA may well just throw the tube away and that will be the end of it.
Really Boots need to look into the problem on your behalf, to check if the ingredients have changed recently, whether Boots have stored the product correctly or sold it to you after a BBD etc.

Personally I would send the remainder of the tube to CS, the address you need is on the back of any Boots receipt, with a note explaining the reaction you have had, a photo of your skin and details of what your doctor said and medications you were prescribed as a result.

They will look into it and have a product database where they record reactions to products. They will be glad you brought it to their attention and refund you on a giftcard, probably with some compensation too.

ETA It doesn't matter that it's not a Boots own brand, as the retailer it's Boots responsibility to sort it out.

Could someone please explain the New Extracts please? I had a couple of doodahs from the ACM and none of the SAs could even find the stuff!! Is it a new updated version of Mediterranean please?

And do I understand there's also a coupon, with a different barcode, in the mag please?

    xx

they are almost the same as the mediterranean packaging but they say boots extract on them instead;) I have managed to find some mini body butters and lip balms on the same shelf as the main product range, but only in 2 out of 5 stores. Perhaps not every store carries the full range?

you can use 150 points from the ACM and 150 points from mag together and at the moment the extract range has a third off it;)

please can someone tell me the best value meal deal to get ( ie, the one that costs the most lol)?

sandwich wise can you have any sandwich or is there only certain ones?

3 pack of creme eggs or is there anything else multipack?

2 diet cokes go through and then pay the difference???

thanks, I know people have posted about these before, but for £2.99 I thought they were expensive compared to M&S £2 deal, however, now I realise that you can get a lot more for you money am definately going to give it a go;)
  • I usually get an Innocent Smoothie for the drink, they are around £1.70 full price.

Any triple sandwich or whatever sandwich you want
Any chocolate, confectionery or crisps under £1.35 (I think) including multipacks and BOGOF offers etc
Any BOGOF drinks (there's usually an offer on drinks of some sort)

You should only have to pay the usual meal deal price, whatever that is in your area.

ETA If you are a HC member you can also get a half price litre bottle of BC water too, with all this you should be able to feed three children from one meal deal :rotfl:

    Good morning all

Just thought I would say thank you to whoever it was that recommended the Nick Lowe spot gel on this board (I think the previous board, but can't for the life of me remember who it was)

On Thursday I woke up with a spot so big it needed it's own postcode, however this gel is a real miracle worker as by Friday it was coverable, and now it is all but gone. I had a big weekend with a 40th Birthday party and then another birthday outing on Saturday night so I was especially pleased that this gel works.

I think I am going to 'retire' ffrom Bootsing for ladies for a while as I have an entire chest of drawers ful of goodies for presents, even after supplementing my own make up and toiletry collection. I have over £100 on AC  , and will be spending that on the men in my life.

Does anyone else find Boots quite limited when it comes to the mens ranges? I want to start building hampers for men as well as ladies but using my AC so will need to keep my eye out for some bargains.

    Does anyone have any suggestions?

    TIA:D
    Boots: £107.xx on AC :j
    Tesco CC: £48.00/ £192 in deals:p

I picked up some Mens No7 shave recovery balm thingy for £3.18. Bought 2 of them. With 10% off and using a perkie, I only had 72p to pay.:T

Also found some reduced Multibionta 60's reduced to £2.99 a box. Bought 3 and as they were on a 342 only paid 598 pts. ***
*** I can remember in my pre-bootsing days paying £20 a box for these  They have certainly come down in price since then.

I only went into boots to collect my order (finally) so sometimes the savings turn up when least expected.
Good one on the mens No7:p
Glad you got your order Polls x ( even if you did have to wait !)
This is a do-it-yourself test for paranoia: you know you've got it when you can't think of anything that's your fault.
