    I went to my local store to get a another reduced foundation (£7.00) but the till beeped and they would not take the voucher. I could not argue as it does say it cant be used with reduced items though. Still I have one foundation and I got DD 2 aswell so must not grumble. I am trying to stay away from Boots for a few days s money is tight. I am supposed to be going to Aviemore for 3 days in April as my ex wants to go climbing. Am trying to book hotel wit Tesco vouchers and he is paying petrol. So I need to know best Boots in Aviemore, Inverness area as I will have 1.5 days to myself. Also need to collect as many points as I am saving them on my DS and DD's cards to get them free lunches. Any ideas? BTW I love the Troll chart!!

    Hi Rose.
    Aviemore is a very small place. There is a Boots in Aviemore but it's small.
    Inverness has two stores and although I cannot recall every having been there I believe they are larger but Inverness is about 40 miles beyond Aviemore. You will pass Perth on your way there. It is just over 90 miles from Aviemore. There is a nice Boots in the middle of High Street Perth right opposite BHS.

    I was there yesterday and got a few things. They had plenty of No 7 compacts even in New Ivory. They scanned at the £3* price but the SA said they had had an email from Head Office and had to change the price to £6*.

    They have 2 AC machines. I have already had 3 points coupons for the Extracts series so it did not give me any more yesterday but my daughters card gave me 2:D. My daughter has gone to live in USA :( but left her card with me. It's very handy for such occasions.

    We went to Wetherspoons in Tay Street for lunch (two meals for £7.20) and later went to M & S for coffee and cake for £2 after 2 pm. Cake is normally £2.20 itself and the assistant asked did I want large coffees as it is still just £2 for a large coffee and pick of cakes on display.

    this might explain the really large hand-written sign saying "vouchers can not be used on reduced items" that i saw they were putting up by the No7 counter last night

    that didnt stop me though, i just grabbed 2 foundations and wandered off to another till to pay, but looks like even that wouldnt have worked today :(

    Just been to Boots to get a meal deal, and surprisingly enough it came through as free. I got my free meal deal on Wednesday so was quite shocked. Tried to explain to SA that I had already had my free one, and she explained the buy 5 and get 1 free policy to me like I had just been born. Oh well. Buy 5 and get 2 free. I'm not complaining.

    Many times one finds it's just not worth trying to explain a mistake and often the SA's will look/feel the cmr is just being 'dumb'... and they know it all as always... :rolleyes: no listening skills(?)... But who's 2 complain on a freebie Mimi? ;)

    Went to B's today following my y'day trip (will post about it a bit later) re No7 Compact Foundation (got them y'day @ £3.18 so thought of buying some more...) but the till would not accept the Perkie!!!!:eek: Fortunately had a nice SA (I know not many of these around) who I explained I was able 2 use the voucher a day b4 with no probs and she overrode the price & put them all @ £3.18 with the Perkies! :T She was an :A , lol! So only got the below:

    2 * No7 Compact Foundation @ £3.18 so with Perkie £1.36 to pay;
    Again as above;
    Extract Minis @ £1.63 (used Mag 150pts) got the Mini body butters & they do look cute... unfortunately no Extract 150pts from ACM n e more...

    Popped down 2 another B's on my way home (a smaller one) and tho the prices on the No7 Compact Foundation showed @ £12.50 full price got it price checked and again, it came @ £3.18; decided to get 2 more to check if the voucher would beep and yes it did... the 2 SA's around the till could not understand why the voucher was not going thru... after so many attempts they decided to check with manager... after about 5mins the SA came back & advised the foundations were @ 75% off & voucher conditions do state these cannot b used on reduced items but I was more then welcome to purchase them @ £3.18 which I declined (already had 4 today & 2 from y'day!)... also am getting quite good @ acting dumb when the reasons why the perkies cannot b accepted r explained...:o ;)

    It appears Mr B is very well aware of the reductions on No7 products to 75% off (tho these offers r not being highlighted @ stores 4 whatever reasons) but as off 2day (coz did not have this problem y'day) the Perkies r not accepted @ the tills on purchase of reduced foundations... still to establish is if the Perkies don't work with any reduced No7...

    I tried to get the compacts today but it wouldnt work with no 7 voucher even with 2 of them, she wouldnt override the till and I ended up leaving them, she made me all flustered too, and there was a queue behind me :-(
    I luv freebies

    Gosh - I just looked on .com to see how much the Origins scrub is that I got free. It is £27.40 for 125ml, the free sample was 50ml and it says £21.92 per 100ml so a great freebie. I don't think I can afford to buy it once the sample gets over though!!!

    Boot doing 2 Simple products for £2.50.

    I like soap as opposed to shower gel and find Simple soap lasts for ages.

    2 packs x4 of soap at £1.25 instead of £1.99.

    Today the No7 foundation compacts were still reduced @ £3.08p each,
    so I picked up 2 and used a perkie, which was great.
    The till didn't like the perkie, but the No7 SA said that she would take the £5 off anyway.

    I bought 1 x Extracts Bergamot Wash @ £2.60, used 150 points from mag and 150 points from ACM,
    with no beeps from the till. 1 x TS mini @ £1.56, used 150 points ACM.
    1 x Extra item to make my purchase up to £5, earnt a perkie and 462 points. :)
    Also 1 X Extracts Coconut Lip Balm @ £2.60, used 150 points from mag, 150 points ACM, again no beeps from the till,
    1 x TS mini @ £1.56, used 150 points from ACM, 2 x No7 compacts @£3.08 each, used a perkie so just £1.16p to pay for 2.
    Paid £5.32 but got 470 points back. :)
    Total spent was £10.32, with 932 points back. :D

    The coconut lip Balm is nice to use imo.
    The magazines were being kept by the tills, which is not normally the case.
    The ACM had no new/ or decent offers or points vouchers at all.
