    Hi

    I am back after a day in bed sleeping off a horrid sickness bug. It really wiped me out - I did manage to read and thank posts but had no energy to actually post!!!!

    Anyway - passion8 this has happened on my Sanctuary GWP as well. I received the despatch email on Thursday evening and expected delivery yesterday. Nothing came and no note put through the door but the HDN site says 'with customer'. I am hopping they just ran out of time and I will recieve on Monday if not I will phone CS to find out what has happened.

    Have you been meeting my DH? he's in bed with really nasty sickness bug :p. Good to hear it only lasts a day, and glad you're back on your feet today (or at least at the pc!)
    We're all trying to avoid DH so may take a trip into Boots (purely for health reasons obviously ;))
    I got my .com order yesterday. :D
    now has her .com delivery but doesnt know where to put it :o

    I went to my local store to get a another reduced foundation (£7.00) but the till beeped and they would not take the voucher. I could not argue as it does say it cant be used with reduced items though. Still I have one foundation and I got DD 2 aswell so must not grumble. I am trying to stay away from Boots for a few days s money is tight. I am supposed to be going to Aviemore for 3 days in April as my ex wants to go climbing. Am trying to book hotel wit Tesco vouchers and he is paying petrol. So I need to know best Boots in Aviemore, Inverness area as I will have 1.5 days to myself. Also need to collect as many points as I am saving them on my DS and DD's cards to get them free lunches. Any ideas? BTW I love the Troll chart!!

    Thanks xxx - I think I picked it up from my nieces as they had it earlier in the week although the 1 yr old had the NOR virus or so they said after a week of her suffering. I think it is a 48 hr thing usually but it certainly zapped all my strength. I felt like i had the bones of a 100 yr old!!!

    I don't know if anyone has already posted this but I just noticed on the .com that there is a £500 skincare prize for reviewing products. Is this new or has it always been there??

    The link is here

    We all use so many of these products, we should be able to manage a few prize winning reviews!!!!:T

    Closes 21 April 2009
  • Yipppeeee had my first bootsing experince today. Went in to get toothpaste etc, and they had McCleans Whitening reduced from £2.93 to 64p so got 2, and foam bath - orange and mango reduced special offer £1.40 to 83p so got two of them. Made sure I spent £5 and got my No7 Voucher.
    Said to the girl could I grab a No7 foundation to go with my voucher as they were reduced to £7. Till beeped, as she was the saturday girl she tried several times but still kept beeping. Then another SA came to help and went away to sort, and came back with another SA. They said as I had been waiting for so long they would just override it, neither seemed to noticed the not to be used on reduced items, so got foundation for £2. Wouldnt normally spend money on foundation so nice treat for me.
    Just shows there is some nice SA's out there who said they didnt blame me using the voucher to get a bargin. Also got my H & B Mag so will check out the Vouchers.
    Can see me getting addicted to boots, and am going to try and collect things to make birthday hampers for friends as they are all on tight budgets like me so will appreciate all the little bits.

  • to the girls who couldnt find their parcel anywhere in your garden back door front door ect, but hdn track shows delivered without a card through the door.
    I suggest you contact the local dhl they might have relocated all the deliver drivers and the driver who are new in your area might sned it to a diffrent address, it happened to my M&S order this Monday ,show online delivered but no card no parcel ,contact them and very soon got call back on the same day, office said the driver is trying to think he might have delivered to a wrong road same house no, he is a new guy, but i got it back 2 days later after that road neighbour contact HDL. my nice neighbours.

    Went to B's today following my y'day trip (will post about it a bit later) re No7 Compact Foundation (got them y'day @ £3.18 so thought of buying some more...) but the till would not accept the Perkie!!!!:eek: Fortunately had a nice SA (I know not many of these around) who I explained I was able 2 use the voucher a day b4 with no probs and she overrode the price & put them all @ £3.18 with the Perkies! :T She was an :A , lol! So only got the below:

    2 * No7 Compact Foundation @ £3.18 so with Perkie £1.36 to pay;
    Again as above;
    Extract Minis @ £1.63 (used Mag 150pts) got the Mini body butters & they do look cute... unfortunately no Extract 150pts from ACM n e more...

    Popped down 2 another B's on my way home (a smaller one) and tho the prices on the No7 Compact Foundation showed @ £12.50 full price got it price checked and again, it came @ £3.18; decided to get 2 more to check if the voucher would beep and yes it did... the 2 SA's around the till could not understand why the voucher was not going thru... after so many attempts they decided to check with manager... after about 5mins the SA came back & advised the foundations were @ 75% off & voucher conditions do state these cannot b used on reduced items but I was more then welcome to purchase them @ £3.18 which I declined (already had 4 today & 2 from y'day!)... also am getting quite good @ acting dumb when the reasons why the perkies cannot b accepted r explained...:o ;)

    It appears Mr B is very well aware of the reductions on No7 products to 75% off (tho these offers r not being highlighted @ stores 4 whatever reasons) but as off 2day (coz did not have this problem y'day) the Perkies r not accepted @ the tills on purchase of reduced foundations... still to establish is if the Perkies don't work with any reduced No7...

    Hope everyone is OK etc. Just been to Boots to get a meal deal, and surprisingly enough it came through as free. I got my free meal deal on Wednesday so was quite shocked. Tried to explain to SA that I had already had my free one, and she explained the buy 5 and get 1 free policy to me like I had just been born. Oh well. Buy 5 and get 2 free. I'm not complaining.

    I've kept away from buying stuff just for the sake of it for a whole week, so I am happy! :p:p

    Hi all hope everyone is having a good weekend. I forgot to say that when I was in Boots the other day (Thursday) that I checked out (again) the Sanctuary Travel Set and on the SEL it was showing as £7.10 :eek: This was showing at the usual £6.85 last week in the same store when I had them price checked. Not sure what is happening there and didnt want to ask as it might have drawn attention to them/myself. This was in a small store HTH

    My shop y'day... the following is what I purchased:

    10080378?wid=200&hei=250&op_sharpen=1

    And

    10069199?wid=200&hei=250&op_sharpen=1

    Both @ clearence prices @ £7.33 but with the 1/3 off they went down to £4.88; I know some1 here (apologies cannot remember who) has been able to get the above 4 £2!

    Also got the Extract Minis (using Mag voucher) @ £1.63 & a Putting set;

    And 3 * NC Apple Body Polisher @ 28p each... good for hampers...

    And decided to buy 1 No7 Compact Foundation as it was advertised @ £6.25 (I knew some had got them even cheaper a few days ago!); when I went to pay the foundation scanned @ £3.18 :eek: so asked the SA if I could go and grab another one; used Perkie thus £1.36 to pay for both foundations!:T Y'day, Mr B's tills were accepting Perkies against the above which seem to have changed today!! So probably Mr B is trying to shift this stock but not allowing the use of Perkies against them...

    Also on clearence stand noticed some reduced FCUK tan creams & some few other items such as MM now being charged nearly £2 a bottle!
