A Crown is a reward for good review writing, not for general Dooyoo participation. If a review is good enough, no matter who writes it, it should get a Crown. That's the joy of Dooyoo and one of the main reasons why it's much better than Ciao.co.uk or Helium dot com.

I have just been on dooyoo and there is a new member who joined today and they have posted 25 reviews, surely that's excessive.

It is but if they meet the minimum requirements they are doing nothing wrong. They're probably not though. Few who churn to that level do.

I joined two weeks ago, wrote 40 reviews over that two week period, and my account seems to have been suspended.

No warning.

I am an active contributer to the community, not just writing reviews but commenting on other people's reviews and rating others.

I feel ripped off. I have given all this to them for nothing. Especially because they have left my reviews up, but just locked me out.

Have you contacted dooyoo to ask why your account has been locked?

I hate to say this but I suspected this was going to be the case on here due to the complete misinformation given by MSE about dooyoo. Sadly I suspect this will just be the start.

Not really the start either. Several members who have come from MSE have had their accounts locked in the past. No doubt this is because people misunderstand or abuse the site. MSE has to be partly at fault for this. 40 reviews in two weeks is a lot! I certainly couldn't manage that any keep withing the rules of the site.
