    F_F if I could blow a raspberry at you I would!!:p

had a lovely day yesterday....OH had the afternoon off so we went ice skating & had the rink to ourselves.....last time that happened would have been about 21 years ago when I was doing competitions, was soo nice
meant I could give legs a proper work out, but oh boy do my ankles dislike me this morning!!

Hump day as I beleive today is known means cuppa with neighbour (this afternoon) & JOB PAPER day woo ho.

Its also the closing date of the current favourite job application.......fingers & toes are crossed, knees would be to but that would just not be comfy

also got some spreadsheets to update & some phone calls to make.......

  • Go get 'em!

Here's hoping you get called for an interview. Enjoy your cuppa.

    hmmm, how time flies!

got nowt done, again, washing is out on the line but tis piddling down & I'm not getting wet fetching it in!
Needed petrol, ouch, drop OH lunch off on the way & then meandered over to garden centre - was given lots of lovely vouchers as leaving present, bough compost & flowers to make up hanging basket - I figure pretties in the garden will cheer me up....assuming the sun comes out again
my folks have offered to buy vouchers off me, knowing I can use cash much easier, may take them up on the offer rather than end up buying stuff for stuffs sake

Suppose I could empty the dishwasher & make the bed - had been doing so well & doing both of those first thing....except today I sat at computer before doing ANYTHING.....and lost a few hours!

    rubbish, completely rubbish

I've just read a 26 page diary & its got me thinking...I've read loads of diaries, more over the last few months as I've got more & more into it & there were times when I wanted to make a comment but didnt dare.

I was also wary of posting on here at first, partly because it would be in black & white rather than just in my head (& on several spreadsheets of course). While the diary was for ME to log MY progress, there was always this nagging thought at the back of my mind - what if no-one else reads it?

I guess I figured that people wouldn't be interested in what I have to say because I'm a stranger & yet through these diaries I feel as if I am starting to get to know folks, possible better than I know some of my closest friends. I look forward to seeing theres an update on a diary, I seek out certain names, and feel for them as they go through ups & downs & wish there was something I could do

On here you can be sooooo open, blunt, downright miserable or chirpy & no-one judges you. Its liberating. Its supportive.

I'm rambling, I know, but theres so many things whizzing about my head I can't type quick enough

I guess what I'm trying to say is
    1) Thank you Martin, for providing this forum which has created such a fabulous support network
    2) Hello:hello:& to everyone who's diaries I've read read but couldnt find the words to comment on
    3) Hello to anyone who's reading
    &
    4) Chin up everyone, we will ALL get there, could be a bumpy ride, but thats true of any journey worth taking (or at least it is if I'm driving)

    ok, ramble over

Morning folks , oops, that should have been afternoon !! tis Friday & the sun is shiny:j

Got a thanks but no thanks from one of the jobs I'd applied for which is a bummer, but on the other hand at least that company was polite which is more than i can say for some!

Very little in the job papers this week, I'm hoping that the summer slow down isn't starting early

Found out @ 7.45 that there was some sort of seminar on today for those of us in the ex-employers redundancy club - but no-one had told me.....would have gone if I'd known in time, but couldnt find out the details as was @ A&E with OH....he's pulled something in his foot & is in agony.....and hoping about the place looking very funny!!! I am offering sympathy really.....

Got a few errands to run, collect cat food from vet, CDs for MusicMagpie to take to post office & then off to visit Mr T - got £10 gift car from Valued opinions through today, thank you very much, so that will come in handy - started looking at a cookery book for novices yesterday and have selected a couple of recipes to try....typically though I don't have the necessary bits n bobs, so they've been added to the shopping list....not quite sorted meal plan, thats next on the list of jobs

I'd signed up for the GM TV bikini diet as we are going to Spain in August . Feeling a little naughty about that, but we've have been v careful to stay within budget figure, bargain flights & quidco'd what I could....anyway, checking the suggested meals for a pearshape....yuck, not going to eat any of them so I guess I'll just have to try the exercise side while eating sensible...hence the opening of cook book for new ideas

OH is doing some 2nd job work tonight so that chq should get added to the holiday spends fund.....

    enjoy the sunshine peoples
