My profession and "stable" job is not a delusion, I deal with tw@ts like you every day..."tweakers" who think they know it all yet when it comes down to it you are another rider of the Mickey mouse bandwagon and I have to fix your f uk ups for you...that is why I am the boss man

Oh please great one teach me... in fact stick it I'm doing fine on my own. I'm no sys admin however its obvious that your talking out your @ss. Ngt kid0 -
You go into a store, close your eyes and point at a computer, what's it going to have installed on it?
Let's not pretend consumers make objective decisions regarding which OS to use; most have only ever used Windows, and are more concerned about what brand the machine is than which brand of OS is on it.
I agree whole'y.
Thank god someone saw sense, and now you can choose to down grade to XP, or if your realy sensible, refuse to accept the Windows license agreement, get a refund, and install Linux....:DTo travel at the speed of light, one must first become light.....0 -

And do you know what Microsoft's biggest mistake was?
Releasing a half completed OS to the general public to beta test.
Instead of releasing XPsp3.
And now they are following in their folly, by trying to push another half cut OS....
Go figure...........:rolleyes:To travel at the speed of light, one must first become light.....0 -
it never ceases to amaze me how these sort of threads degenerate rapidly into "linux is better/worse than windows" and "my techie brain/opinion is bigger/better than yours"

Is it not possible to have a serious debate about these things ?? please ?? without slagging off:-
1. each other
2. other's choice of OS
3. anyone else who gets caught in the firing line ??
Let's face it, there are no absolutes in this debate, it's surely about finding what works for you, and that's the individual's perogative...
personally, I quite enjoy trying to suss out why a pc starts to misbehave now and again
..GunJack ducks behind the sandbags in anticipation of the backlash :rotfl: ..........Gettin' There, Wherever There is......
I have a dodgy "i" key, so ignore spelling errors due to "i" issues, ...I blame Apple
