In case anyone is looking for ladders quite a few companies hire them. I'd arranged to have one from Jewson's but a friend has now lent one. Jewson delivers too which would be useful.somewhere between Heaven and Woolworth's0

Does anyone know what time the multi-storey by the old Sainsburys closes? Or if that closes early, does anyone know of any multi stories that are open until 9 ish?
Thanks allThis is my signature. There are many like it, but this one is mine.0 -
The theatre multi-storey is open until late0

Cheers Swattie
I went past at 8 and it was still open
Another question for you ever so knowledgeable bunch, does anyone know what the two army helicopters flying over MK were about today? One of them was flying very, very low. A few people at my work saw them as well and had no idea what they were doing. They weren't the normal blue and yellow police choppers, they were much 'beefier' and either very dark green or black. This is my signature. There are many like it, but this one is mine.0 -
I've not seen/heard then down here in Bletchley, but we often get Apache's over here. OH works at Hanslope, and occasionally VIP's will get flown in there by chopper. Please forgive me if my comments seem abrupt or my questions have obvious answers, I have a mental health condition which affects my ability to see things as others might.0

Oooh apaches! They must make a hell of a noise!
We get a few private jets/choppers coming over where I work in Kingston because of the Cranfield run way, but these were definitely doing something up there other than going from A to B. Darting all over the place and flying VERY low.
It's really bugging me I can't find anything about them. Can you tell I have very little going on today? :rotfl:This is my signature. There are many like it, but this one is mine.0 -
Just found my fencing down thanks to the winds last night.
Has anyone any recommendations on a company to supply and fix new fencing.
Thank you0 -
Whether they're the cheapest or not I don't know, but Dad used Bodleys from Loughton for his fencing and shed, and was pleased with the results...0

Agree - recommend Bodleys in Loughton - not cheapest but good quality and service
01908 666355 is their number....0 -
Can anyone recommend a local Freeview fitter who won't charge silly money just because it's MK and traditionally aerials haven't been allowed?
Also, if you've had one fitted recently - could you give me a rough idea of what you paid (and what you got for that?) - I need a ballpark figure (for a friend's birthday present) - thanks!0
