I have just spent the afternoon at the Xscape Building with my daughter and her friends and had to spend £4.80 for 4 hours parking. They seem to have taken away all the black parking meters from that area now. Of course it was packed on the other side of the road by The Barn Restaurant where the parking is cheaper. Just thought I would warn everyone to go early and walk under the underpass if you want cheap parking.... I wonder how long it is before they take the black meters away from everywhere up at the shopping centre.

Don't forget if you go to Cineworld you can get your parking reimbursed when you buy cinema tickets - this is valid for the parking in the rows immediately adjacent to Xscape. The parking tickets come with a tear off section which you present to get reimbursed.

You still got to park in the Blue Lined bays, though.... All full on Saturday!

    Good find though!
