First I want to say HI to everyone, this place is great and I'm very happy to be here.
Thanks for posting this info, I have eaten quorn for years and although cooked some ways it tastes better than others I like it very much, and I love a bargain too. :j
Perhaps I am not really in a position to comment on the other topic that seems to have appeared out of nowhere, as I am so new, but I would just like to say that although humans may have been created to eat a mixed and balanced diet of meat, vegetables, fish and fruit along with lots of other things, we were also created with free will.
This gives us all the right to make whatever choices we feel most comfortable with, and no matter what others may think of those choices, as long as we stay on the right side of the law, they really have no right to tell us what we must and must not do.
Meat eaters have a right to eat meat if they choose, and vegetarians have the right to refuse to eat meat for whatever reason they choose.
Personally I am not bothered what other people do, as long as they don't try to push their opinions and life choices onto me.
I uphold my right to make my own choices and mistakes.

Read it now! I take back what I said!
Obvioulsy he not an adult (or at best an immature one as he refuses to allow the fact that not everyone on this planet thinks the same way, does the same things and have the same likes/dislikes... ) but anyway!
Maybe we should all drop it and let him kick off by himself, it just seems he is out for attention and you know how these things work: any attention is better then no attention...etc Why continue to play ball?
And back to Topic, aside from ...
Iceland selling the quorn frozen peices or quorn mince at 99p
Sainsburys selling the quorn bangers (6 pack) for 79p (and think the quorn meat balls are on offer?)
Tescos selling the fresh Quorn steaks at £1.18 (£1off)
Has anyone else seen any offers?
I think Tesco now have the frozen Quorn dippers for £1, not sure what the full price was.“A budget is telling your money where to go instead of wondering where it went.” - Dave Ramsey0 -

Velvet.
It's a shame the humans with free will decide that they need to kill an animal to eat & the animal doesn't have the 'Right' to live.
I've yet to meet a human with teeth that can eat raw meat as all real carnivores can. I can't help but think, that if said human succeeded in eating raw meat, that unlike real Carnivores, humans would be very ill with Salmonella &/or many other diseases.Nice to save.0 -

Yes L.S.D. I agree with you.
I became a vegetarian almost 20 years ago because I did not feel happy about having to kill anything so that I could eat it. However I do not believe that that gives me the right to dictate to others.thatgirlsam wrote:-and i buy and cook meat for my kids -
I take responsibility for my own actions only, and leave everyone else to make their own decisions.
I may not agree with them, but they have the right to do what they choose, just like I do.
That's just the way it is.
I love quorn chicken dippers, especially with cucumber and yoghurt dip. I hope my local Tesco still has some on Tuesday when I go shopping.
I don't know if anyone else has posted this anywhere, but when I was in Tesco last Tuesday they were selling Easter eggs at half price. £2.49 instead of almost £5. With three children that's going to make a huge difference to my pocket.
The offer runs until Tuesday the 10th March so if anyone's interested there isn't much time left.0 -

It's not made from mushrooms, it's made from mould. It's made by a division of ICI Chemicals, who make Dulux paint. Thanks to all who post constructively.
Have an A1 day!0
