I recd my letter from my local salon this morning and have booked in for next weekI want to...........?0

I sent off a voucher for this offer last year when I lived in Norwich, and I was given an appointment at a hairdresser in the centre of town, and i got a great haircut there. I've now moved to the other end of the country and am nowhere near a hairgroup hairdresser, but I sent in my voucher about 3 weeks ago stating I'd like to go to one about 30 miles away, and i haven't heard anything back yet, but I'm still hopeful that I might.0

I sent off for the Prima offer, (only bought the Mag because of the free haircut!). Had an e-mail to say nothing in my area.
Phoned them up several times. Eventually they agreed to pass my details on to a salon, who phoned me up !
I have had my free hair cut, and well pleased. Couldn't have been treated better if I had been charged £50.:j
So the message is DON'T GIVE UP. CHASE THE HAIR GROUP. I get the impression the salons are sat waiting for new clients to be referred to them.0 -
I definitely second that! I sent off for the free hair cut from the weight watchers magazine. I sent it off in the middle of March and heard nothing. Phoned a few days ago and their computers were down, phoned again yesterday and it went to answerphone. I left a message but didn't expect anyone to call me back but today they did. Same story as above - I hadn't heard anything because there wasn't a salon in my area. She said the nearsest is 15 miles away, I said that's fine by me and she said she would manually allocate me to that salon and I'd hear in about 30 days.
Ok so it has taken ages and I still haven't had the haircut yet, and I don't understand why they couldn't write or phone or why they thought 15 miles was too far but I'm a step closer to the free haircut!
So I second what The Old Bag said - don't give up, chase them down!0 -
I'd given up on them as well, but took your advice and contacted them on this number 0844 8844 000 - they allocated a salon on the spot and said I'd hear back in 30 days as well. So lets see - like you said one step closer though.0

Has anyone got a geographical number to ring rather than the 0844 number? I think I saw it somewhere on this thread, but i can't find it now, and i want to ring them.0

I havent heard about mine - I sent the voucher off ages and ages ago and not so much as a letter, email or anything! Should I ring them? (If yes please does anyone have the phone no?)
ThanksSam0 -

Yep, I missed their call and they left a geographical number on my missed calls. It's 019232345560 -
I would like to stress again. IMO Chase up the hair group, whichever phone number you use !
If you remember all the free hair cut offers they must have on the go - PRIMA, and Weight Watchers is mentioned above, plus I think the Sainsburys Mag one was the hair group. If nothing else YOU phoning up will bring YOU to the top of their list to sort out.
They are not unfriendly, just seemed overwhelmed. I stayed nice and pleasant. I didn't lose my temper, get aggressive or let myself sound irritated, and made sure that when she did eventually say she would allocate me one TODAY, I expressed my gratitude - repeatedly !!:T
A bit of creeping and buttering up often works better I find than coming heavy handed and DEMANDING your hair cut NOW.
For the sake of a phone call, give it a go - that is probably what you bought the mag for, so make a bit MORE effort, and you will get the promised hair cut
Good Luck ALL:D0 -
Still waiting to hear from Prima Mag about my free hair cut also...will phone them tomorrow..my daughter gave up too easily on last years offer...I will not though.....0
