makes 2 of us then.... what shall we do now ?
Im still texting everyday !!I would love to be a Travel Agent :j0 -
I rang the helpline number today and managed to speak to a helpful lady.
First of all she said there were no salons in my area but they would keep my details on file and would contact me if someone else joined. I said that although I was in Northampton, the salon at Kingston (MK) was actually very convenient for me, but she said that the salons specify what postcodes they will "accept" referrals from, so although Milton Keynes was my nearest distance wise, that salon would not accept me - its not just a case of you telling them you would be prepared to travel (I suppose from the salons points of view, they're looking to convert you to a customer, and while we might be prepared to travel a bit further afield for a freebie, we might not on a regular basis for a normal cut and blowdry).
I asked if she could check whether the Towcester salon would accept a Northampton postcode, which she said was accepted (and she couldn't understand why it hadn't allocated me there in the first place), so she said she would manually allocate me to that salon, checked my contact details and said the salon would contact me in about 30 days or so.
My advice is to ring the helpline (although I had to ring a couple of times before I got through to someone)0 -

I don't stand a lot of hope after reading your thread then - i have an oxfordshire postcode but Towester is my nearest - guess they won't accept me then!
Just in case please can you let me know if the towester on contacts you and what the cuts like!
Thanks0 -

Could you let me have this helpline number please? I also have had no contact since I applied and suspect that they are going to say there is no salon near here - but there are 2 I would be willing to travel to so it may be worth a call................0 -
The helpline number from the Prima mag is 0844 88 44 000 (sorry, no idea about call costs for that, but I rang from work!?). Prima promotion code (they didn't ask me but you never know) is H1117

I hadn't heard anything from this either. My postcode is M19 (Manchester 19) which is only about 4 miles away from the 4 hair salons listed for M1 (Manchester city centre)
When I rang the helpline I was told that, like others, my postcode didn't match any salons (ie they would need to be in M19!!)
The lady on the phone was helpful though and said she would pass my details through to my nearest salon manually and I would be contacted by them within 60 days. Fingers crossed!

jimmyt wrote:Got a text from them saying " We've no salons in your area.We will notify you when we have salons in your area" Rubbish ! I live in Bromley and there are 4 salons within 5 miles of me.Looks like it was a con to get me to buy the magazine.
Have phoned the hairdressers.I was told they only give you a freeby in your POSTCODE.I have no hairdressers at all in my postcode!
Rang up again after a couple of days.Spoke to another person, saying there is one on the list half a mile away. This person said they will send me a voucher!
Now we wait and see!
I'll let you know:rolleyes:0 -
I have decided to give up - seems too much hassle and my regular hairdresser is really good anyway.0

I posted a letter through their door on Wednesday and had a call back from customer services the same day. They advised that the hairdressers would call me in about 3 weeks.
I would say that it does not look like a very large office so I think they may be a little swamped with paperwork at the momentI want to...........?0 -
I got a letter for mine saying that Hair Cuttery is doing mine - got the letter ages since and called a couple of weeks ago to make the appointment for this week - my hair cut is tomorrow - saves me alot of money!Weight Loss - 102lb0
