My husband recently took our 2 daughters to their first football match at St James Park, Newcastle. He had been paying £25 for his own ticket before but when he went to book he found out that as my youngest daughters (disabled) carer he got in for free and her ticket only cost £5 instead of the £10 it cost for my other daughter. So a day that we thought would cost £45 was only £15 so a great cheap day out. Not sure if all clubs are the same but it's worth checking.I'm a little angel

This is a great tread. I have learnt a lot about what I can get. I have DLA medium and mobility low. I so far have the cinema card but have not used it yet. I am going to ask my local council what services they offer.
So far I have learnt that my council offer free travel on trains and buses in my area , low cost adult courses... help with financing building work for your house and also free use of the library (no fines, no charge for rental of DVDs, CDs or videos). They also give you reduced rate at the local Leisure Centre (health centre with gym, swimming pool & aerobic classes).“…the ‘insatiability doctrine – we spend money we don’t have, on things we don’t need, to make impressions that don’t last, on people we don’t care about.” Professor Tim Jackson

HappySad - are you sure you only get low cost courses? My local college has FREE courses for people with DLA, Attendance Allowance etc and I thought it was the same with all colleges.
While I'm posting - for anyone who likes animals, London, Chester and Bristol Zoo, and Deep Sea World in Fife have discounts for disabled then a free ticket for a carer. Colchester Zoo has half price tickets for both disabled and carer. Probably most other zoos will have same sort of thing - these were just what I found for now.
As I've mentioned before - check out ANY place you want to visit, most places not only have discounts for disabled visitors, but discounts or even free entry for carers.I'm a little angelBUT A WHOLE LOTTA DEVIL
