morning all...
MSD re Tristan not giving up...my granny was a stubborn thing in life and despite having gangrene on her foot refused to die for a week with her daughters surrounding her. This, bizarrly was great comfort afterwards...she went out, true to character, kicking and screaming. Good on em both! She looking at me now in a lovely photo I have that captures her - the twinkle obvious! hugs for you...
Peeople who were low yesterday hugs for you. I do wonder sometimes with all our cooking, planning, cleaning how we can easily forget to do something we enjoy - read a bit, go for walk, feed the ducks...whatever. For me its about something without a purpose but just something that lifts my spirit and is for me...
Thank-you whoever gave the pesto recipe...will be making it later after a busy day at w*** and testing before I make it for other people. Pine nuts a must me thinks...gently browned so the lovely nutty flavor comes out...must also grow some herbs on my minuscule window sill!
mioliere weezl is giving me a knitting lesson tomorrow...tried to get it on utube but it was hopeless!
Anyway...must on! have a good day pepys...Nerd no 109 Long haulers supporters DFW #1! Even in the darkest moments, love and hope are always possible.0 -

morning all.
Didn't manage to get my housework done before my mum arrived yesterday, never mind, ill have to carry on with it today. LO is in nursery so ill be able to get the hoover out which she is scared of.
Had scrambled eggs and toast for breakfast this morning, using local free range eggs that i got from a farm shop i found. tbh, i wasn't very impressed with the quality of stuff i got from there although the egg were ok. I think ill try and find a different farm shop if i can find one!
Going to the doctors this morning as ive been having really severe headaches lasting a few days each time. As im pregnant aswell i want to check theres not a connection.
happy belated birthdays for yesterday, i think i missed those yesterday. Hugs to all those who need one!0 -
Good morning all :hello:
Diva - hugs to you and Tristan, I will keep thinking of him, though I never really stopped xx
Halight and Smoky - :bdaycake: Happy belated birthday and sorry I missed it...
Snowy - commiserations or congratulations, whichever is more appropriate to how you're feeling. It sounds like putting up with that so-and-so wasn't worth any amount of money.
Csarina - :grouphug:
Huge :grouphug: to everyone I missed xxx
I am still struggling a little at the moment, I'm doing what I can and that has to be enough. I'm trying not to feel guilty about it but it's difficult. All those people I need to post things to, I'm sorry I haven't done it yet, I hope you don't mind bearing with me a little while here, I will get everything posted out soon x I know these ups and downs are part of my illness, but it's so hard not having a 'reason' for it. I think that's what people find hardest to deal with. Poor Dave just doesn't understand at all. He likes to be the big provider and he still takes it as a personal insult if he can't make everything perfect. He's a wonderful man but he has started to get frustrated with me and I with him. Which of course makes everything even harder. And I do feel so guilty that some people can be strong and deal with whatever terrible things life throws at them and I have no terrible events to cope with and I still can't be strong. Like I say, even though I know it's an illness, doesn't make it easier to accept.
Anyway I'm done whinging, I hope everyone has a good day and I promise I won't come back until I'm cheerful again xx0 -
