Hiya Rupe!
I dunno he has got a kind of mysterious look about him...a strong, manly look....:D He can examine my accounts any time! :rotfl:
Im sitting here and there is all naff stuff on TV. I really have no idea why we have Virgin Media. Think the OH would possibly drive me mad through lack of football though as the footie channels do keep him occupied and out of my way x
I might read a book in bed later, ive been having trouble sleeping at night. I dont know if its stress etc but ive been going crazy trying to drift off and then i wake up again and again through the night.
Ive got a diet book i could read, but hey, why depress myself tonite!!!CC1 - £250 (PAID) :j
CC2 - £2400
CC3 - £3200
I hate redundancy..it sucks.

Hey Blondie, hope you're having a nice evening (microwave explosions excluded!:D )
I don't know if you're still searching for something to watch or not, but Dexter is on ITV1 in about an hour! I absolutely love it, it's about a blood splatter expert in the Miami PD who is also a mass murderer!
It doesn't sound it from that description but it's also really funny!NSDs: 4/50 -

Rosered - i'd love to one day move to the countryside...live in a big house and go for walks...maybe even take the cat for a walk!! (you can buy cat buggies in Pets at Home which is like a pram but for cats!!)
Your OH is 15 years younger, that must mean your a bit of a sexy minx then!! I look about 15 years OLDER..and feel about 20 years older....
Note to self - must start taking tips of Rosered on how to look younger and how to look like a sexy minx...:D
OK another update!!!!!!!! IVE GOT SHORTLISTED TO THE FINAL TWO PEOPLE FOR THE INTERVIEW I WENT TO ON MONDAY!!!!!!!!!!!!:j :j :j :j :j :j :j :j :T :T :T]
Hi Blondie! Wow - you are making great progress! RE your comments about tips! :rotfl: Well funny. Well when you reach the ripe old age of 45 and want to look 30, like my young husband - here are my tips: grow your hair long and take care of it, don't overpluck your eyebrows, don't wear bright red lipstick unless you are dark-skinned, and don't wear liquid foundation - wear mineral make-up - simple!IF you wish to comment on whether you think I can back up my claims, I can pm you a wedding photo!
So glad to hear of your progress - you sound like a smashing girl x RR0 -
Hi everyone!!
Just read the thread and been really giggling to myself!! Blondie & RR you tickle me!:rotfl::rotfl: :rotfl:
Good luck blondie, hopefully you should have a job soon if you're a front runner for 1 and final 2 for the other one!:A Got my fingers crossed!
Just thought blondie, have you thought about doing the free scratchcards if you're online a lot? Minimum of 10p a day but something for nothing is always good!!
Nearly my bedtime, need some beauty sleep if we're all gonna do a RR... but will subscribe to the thread... I'll be back!!xx

Congratulations, blondie, :j and best of luck for the second interview. I will have my paws crossed here, and I am sure Marmite will volunteer to do the same for you (and Sparky, of course). Sending you all good vibes to be relaxed, calm and yourself, and hoping that you like the revised job specification.
Catching up on the rest of the thread, I don't have a diary: just call me a thread-botherer (term coined by the lovely Lula-Hula - look out for her). Like RR, I too am the ripe old age of 45, and have the recommended long hair. My husband is only 7 weeks younger though (and boy does he enjoy those seven weeks...). We've been married a year and a half, having finally decided that it was possible to get married and not grow instantly old and respectable overnight. OH closely resembles my dear departed labrador: easily excitable, very fond of food, heart the size of a planet, big brown eyes, chuffs away to himself, clumsy, leans on you, in danger of breaking both you and the house due to overenthusiastic welcoming. You can see I'm really lucky. As far as debt is concerned, well there isn't any at the moment, but I am not getting paid as I am on long-term sick leave. I had my at risk notice for redundancy at the weekend. So at present I am focused on staying debt free, and have managed so far, although I was last paid in September 2008. I definitely have MSE to thank for keeping me solvent.
Good luck again, looking forward to hearing your updates.0 -
Hey Blondie - really hope you DIDN'T read the diet book;)
I bought Marie Clair yesterday JUST for the free skin creme (as recommended on our very own freebies forum!) - it was a very self-indulgent read - loved it actually. Marie Clair, ER and Grey's Anatomy - the perfect end to a much needed day off. Can I recommend it to anyone who has £3 to spare - yes I know its not particularly DFW-friendly, but lets call it therapy!
BTW I don't work for Marie Clair - just in case anyone reports me for advertising/spam etc!:rolleyes:Onward and upward - with the odd step to the side

Morning!! Hope your all ok this morning!
The suns out here which is nice, although im not ready (or thin enough) for summer yet!! SO HOLD OFF TILL IVE LOST WEIGHT!!! I cannot believe i lost so much last year and put it all back on in about 3 seconds.
Rosered - No red lipstick eh?? dammit. Ive got really light blonde hair and have been trying (and mostly failing) to do the black eyeliner, red lipstick thing for a while. Now i know it ages me more i shall be swopping for pale beige!!!
Rupe - Oh and dont worry about the 'spam' thing, this is a no spam thread. Even if i was DYING i wouldnt eat spam. Unless it was covered in dairy milk.
Wheredoesitallgo - I had been seeing everyone talking about scratchcards and im tempted! Where do you join up? Do you have to pay first?
Hollyberry - Being debt free is fab! Well done you!!!!:T :T :T :T :T :T
I WILL get there. (at some point)
Well i have my interview at 2pm in London.Oh the joy of the trains and underground. I shall buy a Marie Claire on the way to keep me occupied, plus a magazine serves as a good hitting implement for those men who get too close on the train.
I woke up this morning and i have horrible skin, no idea why. After yesterdays threads and the fact im surrounded by all you young looking girlies ive got to start looking after myself more. Not just with the diet but with my health etc. You wait, i shall look so young in a few months time they wont let me buy a lottery ticket!!:j :j It starts TODAY. Heres the plan:- eat veg at every meal
- drink more water
- look after my nails and hair
- moisturise more
- go for a walk in the evening
Sparky is back tonite!! Got to tell him about the microwave:eek: . Also there are some bills that need attention real quick and we need to talk about how we are gonna try to find the money for them??!! I also need to get some chicken out the freezer as i might cook a curry tonite..:j
Have a great day!! I shall be on later to chat!!!!CC1 - £250 (PAID) :j
CC2 - £2400
CC3 - £3200
