Must definately be something in the water as I've had fallings out with OH this week too. Supposed to be saving for a house deposit but he'd rather spend his money on c**p.
Also, I'm not blonde either, but I'm way ahead of all on you on the cat front. There are currently 8 in my house  2 adults which we've had for years, 5 10 week old kittens and a 6 month old kitten from her previous litter ( called satan as it trashed the flat of the bloke we sold it to within a week and got returned back to us!)0 -
Hugs to everyone with OH probs! Men!!!!!
Today going into town to pay in the £980 i got for my car- £2.5k less that i got it last year!!!! But that will got straight onto cap1 and barclaycard andthen will only have £210 left on credit cards- this brings my DFD forward!! woo hoo
Blondie- i'm blonde too! However have gone a little darker for a change.
Right need to update my thread!! xxBe your own superhero :j0 -
For all of you with "difficult" men-folk this morning, I offer up the following cautionary tale from yesterday. OH and I were pootling merrily through the Cotswolds, enjoying the sunshine, and contemplating where to have lunch. We saw a pheasant at the side of the road, which waited until we were close up then strutted at a leisurely pace across the road in front of us. Cue emergency brakeing and avoidance of beautiful bird hits large amount of metal scenario. Ten minutes later, two more pheasants are at the side of the road. OH brakes, and we pass at a crawl. Neither pheasant deigns to move. As we pull into the car park, OH mutters to me that he cannot understand why the second pheasants were not as stupid as the first. The answer: "They're girl pheasants, sweetie."
(He got his own back by tickling me unmercifully.)

Hi blondie, from another (strawberry) blonde
I've just read through your thread, although I probably should have been doing something more productive :rotfl: I love your writing
It sounds like your interviews (bar that last one) have been going really well. I'm normally good at interviews but I also totally know what it's like to fluff one for no reason - don't worry, it happens! Just thought I'd write a note to give you a big hug this morning. I doubt Sparky even realises there's a problem with not telling you - sometimes they just don't think  I'm glad you've got your sister to talk to and cheer you up at least. Hopefully you will be allowed out of the nunnery for a bit to talk it through with him! If you thought it was worth getting back with him after breaking up before then there must be something there worth making the effort for...
Good luck with it all anyway - I hope you have a nice weekendLive on £4000 a Year Challenge member

Hi, blondie. Just read through your whole thread (and will now subscribe) Sorry you are feeling so sad today.
Perhaps Sparky doesn't mean to be a wally? He is a GUY after all- not much going on in the brain cell department  Perhaps you could have a chat with him about how all this is making you feel, except you have to go a bit 'softly softly catchy monkey'. If you start too accusatory, then he will get all defensive, then you get all upset and then he gets more defensive and it snowballs into a row. (at least, that's how it go in my house!) I get better results if I leave it a while so I calm down, then say almost casually 'you know when you did ..... then that made me feel.....' and see what he says when it's just a conversation, and not an argument.
Counselling session over.I'm not blonde I'm afraid
but I do have a cat
Called Harold, who like to sit on my feet. I have advised OH he is not allowed to die before me because I will turn into a crazy cat lady. Although hopefuuly that shouldn't be in the near future- I'm 27 and he's 28!
Perhaps you will still get the job, after all- maybe the other person was even more nervous than you!
Laura

Welcome Laura and andromache!!!! (Laura - aka crazy cat lady too. Harold is a great name for a cat! For a while i was going to call Marmite, Alfred!)
Dont ya just love men.
Kirstie - men love buying !!!!. Anything with shiny packaging or on offer. Idiots. 8 cats!!! Ohh i lve kittens though. I wish someone could breed tiny cats. ~Sod the whole cloning thing, invest in breeding tiny cats!! Much better idea!!!
Tilly - Well done paying off the cc!!!!!!:j :j :j Dont worry that the car went for less, think of all the interest your saving on the card payments by paying it off early!!
Well im back from a trip around the shops with my sister and her new baby. I havent eaten any junk food today so far.So the day is looking up.
Im going round to hers at 8ish for dinner, and to watch a DVD. STILL havent heard from Sparky. GRRRRRRRRRR. I will leave it to calm down before speaking to him, problem is it might take me so long to calm that he will probably be dead by then and it would be no point anyway!:p
Ive got to go round to a friends to do her cleaning at 6, i get £10 for doing an hours clean. Its good to get an extra bit of cash and it helps her to as she doesnt have time to do it.
Right off to do the washing up. I am so manky, 3 days of washing up in the sink:eek: .

Hi Blondie. Sorry to hear about the altercation with your man. Your affection for him is obvious in your diary. May I please give you a bit of an opinion? You need to go somewhere together away from your flat on neutral territory and have a talk. I know its not very money saving, but maybe dinner so you can talk about whether you want the same things. Its hard to get men to talk, but usually, once they feel you give them the opportunity, it all comes out . Sorry to be serious. I know that money trouble is crushing to a relationship, but you can get through it if you both want it enough. I am going to eat a whole pizza to myself now. My younghusband has gone to see his Mum x x x0
