Hello!
Just wanted to say that I've just read your thread and have now subscribed to it. I'm not blonde but I have a cat called Tinkerbelle who is very spoilt!
Good luck on the job front, got my fingers crossed for you. Well done on the Amazon sales too!
loopy x0 -
Goodness, I need my Blondie fix. Where art thou?
Just been to Poundland and got a draft excluder, Mock Orange shrub ready to plant, and a jar of coffee for £3. With myself I am well pleased0 -
[Lastly, Rosered said "a rolling stone gathers no moss - after a job interview, you've done your best - NEXT! Its like when you're wading through a load of frogs to find your prince - you just keep moving on" - that is JUST what I needed today, so THANK YOU Rosered for your not-so-little pearl of wisdom ]
Thank you Mellika! (What a lovely name).0 -
Hi all!
Welcome Loopylou!!! xx
Was catching up from the posts, drunken antics eh??? What have i done to you all!! lol:beer:
Ive been trying to keep myself busy today, had another NSD so thats fab! Other than that its been a pretty pants day.
Had another row with Sparky, he texted me last night at 9pm saying 'come home and lets watch a DVD' - i thought, great, we can talk. HE FELL ASLEEP SNORING ON THE SOFA AT 10PM!!!!!
He got up this morning and left to see his mate. (his dunderhead friend who is more stupid than he his! They are like a cheaper, and naff version of Dumb and Dumber when put together.)
I went to see my mum and then spent the day with my sister. They all cheered me up about the whole thing but sitting here now i dont know what to do. (I dont want this to become a sad, moany thread so i wont go into it too much more).
I love him but hes so different, its like he has no respect for me. Its like a light switch has turned in his head and im a big evil moo bag and everything i do is wrong! I dont know, maybe when i get a job then i will be able to clear my head a bit. So fingers crossed for some good job news this week!
Im sitting here now in my favourite pink monkey pj's and drinking a cup of tea. I have wrapped the last of my ebay parcels that need to be posted tomorrow and a few more books! Look at me being all organised!! Rosered would be proud!!:T :T
I havent eaten ANYTHING bad today!!!:DNot a quaver has passed my lips. :A
I might catch up on Facebook later as i havent been on there in a while. Im so nosey i love looking into other peoples lives and seeing what they are doing. Im one of those people who love to watch others in coffee shops. Sod the lattes, gimme some interesting people to look at!!
I play this game sometimes when i am on the train. I imagine a whole life story for them! (i know im mental but sometimes its funny!).
UPDATE AS I TYPE, SPARKY HAS TEXT ME: 'Just at xxx play PS3 u ok'.
(Hmnnn a man of so few words on text but has the gob the size of mount everest face to face.)
Anyways...yeah it can be funny..
Friday *woman on train dressed in smart suit, high heel shoes, no tights, badly smeared lipstick*
My version of the woman's This Is Your Life:
Her names Marion, she works as a receptionist in a law firm. Shes 32, looks after her figure (she belongs to Virgin Gyms) and she has a cat called Boo Boo. (Whiskers chicken in gravy is Boo Boo's meal of choice in cae you were wondering).
She is secretly having an affair with her boss, who is 45 and looks like Tony from Corrie. (lucky b*tch!). She has just been on a secret meeting with him in her local Travelodge. Shes going home to have a quick shower before her unsuspecting husband comes home. She cooks them chicken pasta bake for tea with a side salad dressed in balsamic vingear.
The end.
LOL:T :T :TCC1 - £250 (PAID) :j

Hello Doll! Get thee behind me for laughing at my draft excluder purchase! Its a long turquoise and swirly sausage and I can't fault it, as its ice station Zebra here is the North Yorkshire countryside (8 degrees in the living room). I wish I had some coal
My mother in law came to visit with some lino for our bathroom floor, but she didn't fit it for us like younghusband said she would (and why should she..) So that's another job for me. I'm not letting younghusband loose with a stanley knife! I have never been the Poundland before. I was walking around York Minster and it was just around the corner, so I went in.
I play a game like that with people on buses and trains. I love watching people. well done on getting yourself all organised.
Now is the time to sort out your man, darling. When you get a job, you are going to be tired as its always a big learning curve. Carpe Diem! Why don't you tell him to stuff his PS2 (or whatever its called) and get home to his queen? If my OH started with computer games, he would get locked in his troll shed. RRX0 -
NOTE TO SELF - rename garage 'Troll shed' !! :rotfl:
8 degrees!!!! Surely thats not normal???!! Put every item of clothing you have on at once!! Mind you they say that you burn more calories when your cold so im going to pop round and sit on your sofa in the nudie for a while ok? If i sit there for say, um 10 years, i might, just might, lose enough weight to be able to fit into ANYTHING from Topshop (they sell muu-muu's dnt they???):rotfl:CC1 - £250 (PAID) :j

Hi there.
8 degrees is about normal - ice on the inside of the windows when it gets very cold outside. I have lloads of clothes on, but eventually, your feet just freeze no matter what you're wearing. Younghusband has just said "why don't you go and have a go on the treadmill to warm you up?" Yeah right!!
I would recommend a troll shed to anyone - have only had cause to use mine twice. men do not respond well to punishment; they respond to reward. So, if you decide to punish, it must be swift and merciless. One night, years ago, he came home in the early hours, blind drunk, and passed out on the lawn. I dragged him by the feet into one of our sheds and left him there. He never did it again. That's how it became called the troll shed - its where he knows he will go if he behaves like a troll. I used to think that sulking and wishing that men would understand how I am feeling would make their behaviour change - it never does. You must be direct. I wouldn't swap him for anything. I have had a lot of horrid trolls before I met him0 -

Brilliant! It's just a shame my OH doesn't really drink so I'm not sure how I would get him in the shed. Then there's the logistics of fitting him round the assortment of cr*p in there. Still, that is hilarious!
Ps Blondie- at least you OH goes out to play games. Mine plays X-Box live online with his mates and during that time I can't watch TV or get on internet  I'd much rather he went out. And at least Sparky is thinking of you if he sent a text. Mine has been know to go away for a week and not text or ring me once. He wasn't very popular around these parts for a while0 -
Laura: [And at least Sparky is thinking of you if he sent a text.]
Totally agree Laura!0
